Indeed... He reminds one of a certain ex-rockets roll player.

That's the thing with being a professional athlete -- your boss gets to micromanage what you do with your physique. Maybe Carlisle shouldn't have said it publicly, but I don't think it's a huge problem he did. He certainly shouldn't be apologizing.

TheFreak's been acerbic at least since 1999.

That's some really weird "controversy" up in Dallas.

    For apologizing?

But I agree with the latter.

CP is a superstar. He should do whatever he wants whether it be buttering up or selecting what role he's going to play in the system.

I would say a guy trying to put on as much muscle mass as possible within several months is indeed "speed bulking" but, yes, that is my own term.

I assure you if he put on 20 lbs over the summer that he put on fat along with muscle. He was just lean enough to start that adding 5-10 lbs of fat on a 6'9", already lean frame isn't readily noticeable to the human eye. For the record, in the picture he posted, he looks softer in his lower abs than before.

He clearly didn't do it "the right way" or his coach would not have immediately and repeatedly said that he isn't in game shape and his game is suffering from the weight gain.
