I wish I had a way to be a writer like you Kelly. My NBA knowledge isn't as polished nor is it very extended, but I think I could do a pretty good job writing an NBA column.
I have yet to see one ringing endorsement for her. A buddy of mine from Michigan said she stunk in their paper, and I see what he meant. Is this an actual career for a writer though, making controversial stories without a real basis or fact to back up the story? I mean using the media thing to say poor poor Kobe. Give me a break because I don't see her saying that about AI or any other star in the league today, as if they havent had their moments in the media, and they didnt cause alot of the riff raff like Kobe did in Colorado.
i just don't get some people. it's really like they live in their own world, everyone else is wrong, and they are completely content with it.
I've been saying it for years, the sports journalism industry has to be one of the most accountability-free industries to be a part of. alot of articles are like this, this writer just chose a subject that would get a lot of people riled up.
Okay, that's just sad. I don't know how old she is, but she obviously never actually watched a game during the 80's or 90's. She should at least check her facts before she says something sweeping (and stupid) like that. That just bothers me cause she gives female basketball fans and sports writers a bad name.
