[ESPN PAGE 2] Former Mobster Henry Hill on Tim Donaghy

Seems like Henry Hill would want to keep his mouth shut. I wouldn't go blabbing my mouth every minute if I ratted out a major captain and associate of the Lucchese family. He says that the Vario family would probably say hello to him on the street if they saw him, I doubt that.

BTW, I saw Goodfellas again recently and I thought The Departed was a better Scorcese film.

 

I saw this today. It seems kind of like more of Henry Hill, a degenrate addict of various poisons, talking out his ass.

Most of the information I have read through up to now says that the "mob" connections of the two small time bookies Donaghy was involved with are very greatly exaggerated and that these two guys he was involved with are small timers at best with very tenous connections to the dying vestiges of organized crime.

Henry Hill is living in the past. Just like the Sopranos is over - so is the Mob, the Outfit, Mafia, Costa Nostra whatever you want to call it. That's why all his stories are from 30 years ago.

 

I love how you can be a "former" mobster these days.

Most deserve the Death Penalty or more cause they have killed multiple people through drugs/violence or what ever
