How long is a High school basketball game? If I remembered correctly it is 4 eight minutes quarters. Freaking just dribble or pass around for 30 sec or at least 15 secs each possesion is it that hard to do? Don't even try to play offense. Have three or four players chase that one girl, how stupid is the other coach?

Didn't Doug Moe do this once? If I recall it was sometime in the 80's and the Nuggets were playing at Phoenix. Phoenix was blowing them out and around 130 points at the start of the 4th. The Suns had a promotion that if they scored 150 everyone at the arena would get a free pizza so the crowd was going wild. Doug Moe told the Nuggets to stop playind D and let the Suns score. The league found out about this and fined him. When asked why he would tell his team not to play D he responded, "I wanted some pizza too."

I don't think I would have a problem with that.

I think Doug Collins did this about 10 years ago against the orlando magic.

Can't remember the exact details, but one of the magic players was an assist shy of a triple double and there were about 3 seconds left in the game. Orlando got a defensive rebound and called a timout (already way ahead) so they could get the ball at midcourt. During the timout, Collins took his team (the Pistons, I believe) and went to the locker room.

The orlando player (can't remember who is was) threw the ball to a player under the basket and got his meaningless triple-double. Of course the idiot orlando fans went crazy.

Anyone else remember this? I can't remember any of the details.

It reminds me of the the strategy employed by the Bulls of the 90's, just give Jordan the ball and get the f!@# out of the way.

I would have put all 5 of my players on her only and let the rest of them score.
