Dwight Howard is interested in any team that will pay him the most money.

    This isn't really a story.

Would be classic Knicks to overpay a declining Howard.

He might actually be a good fit there if KPaps wants to play power forward

I think the Nets are more likely than the Knicks

Good, two overpaid losers will be hooking up in Dwert and Melodrama.

and if you watched the games, you'd realize that he's just statpadding. He will never box out for another player to get a rebound and he will never tip the ball out to a guard for an offensive rebound

LOL - That is because he pushes everyone out of the way including teamates to get his numbers up, so some dumb GM will go...hey look, he gets 12 boards a game.....and fail to look at him lolligagging on defense, or shooting terribly from the FT line or in post up situations, or allegedly being this rim protector of one of the worst teams at defense in the lane in the league.

Let him go....let him go....don't want him no mo.....let him go, let him go.....let's slam that door.....they don't know....what we all do, that Dwert's best days are behind him, and now his game is poo.

Doesn't sound like the prototypical center for the triangle. I would imagine Phil would be more interested in Pau.

This. Its also interesting that Dwight seems to be playing very "Spirited" against teams like the Bucks that have money to burn and a whole at the 5. He didn't seem too enthused playing against the Raptors... a team that publicly had this go out -

Dwight is rightfully solely focused on nothing but his Summer and free agency right now. Can't say I really blame him.

Dwight is one of those guys who is not automatically tuned in at all times, but if Phil were to actually invest some time in motivating Dwight he could produce a lot more than he does with us.

That's what got Jackson 6 rings instead of 2 or 3 rings that Jordan guarantees, the ability to motivate everyone around Michael Jordan all the time no matter the personality type, no matter the type of motivation needed. Jackson got incredible production/motivation out of mediocre players.

However I remember reading recently that Jackson has very little involvement with the players.

Eh if durant comes here which is a good possibility he will stay. But he has to accept an even lesser role for sure. Thibs would be perfect coach for a team like that

Statpadding = any time a player you don't like does well in a way that can be quantified.

Well, yeah....like Harden's been stat-padding his scoring average at the free throw line. Right?

    (crickets chirping, bullfrogs croaking)

    Right?

(somewhere in the near distance, a mouse farts)
