west is getting stacked. our future appears to be bleak, sitting at #9 seeds.

Agree with you on Duhon. I like Delonte a whole lot better.

However, I really don't see Ben Gordon being able to man the point any better than Luther Head. Sefalosha is starting to be an intriguing player but he's not a shooter. I think we need a point guard who can handle and shoot. And essentially Gordon and Sefalosha seem to be each half. We need both of them combined somehow into one dude.

Whoever is suggesting Delonte and Wally, I think Morey would do that trade in a heartbeat. However, if I were Seattle I would sit on Wally until next year when he is an expiring and either get back a really good player/pick or let him expire and reclaim all the cap space. James dents their payroll for another 3 years. Can't see them taking him back for Wally.

BTW, if the deal for Kidd to Dallas goes down, Morey should be on the phone pronto with Stackhouse's agent. Send Luther and Snyder to Seattle for Delonte, sign Stackhouse, then buy out Francis' deal so we can add Harris.

Rocket Killers Stackhouse, Harris, and then backup C Diop? Why would Jason Kidd be better with Dirk/Howard as opposed to Carter/Jefferson?

If the Bulls are willing to give up Ben Gordon for Rasual Butler, then what would they give up for Battier, or hell, McGrady???

Wells fell into the Rockets' lap because his eventually-fired agent blew a SAC deal, Francis was an ultra low risk $2.4m "deal" which may never have an upside, James' production level makes him almost untradeable and Brooks was an Adelman selection. The Spurs wanted to drop salary but couldn't move Scola to the EC. Again, more luck than skill.

"Excellent job" must be thinking the Rockets were a Shane Battier away from competing with the WC elites because that's all Morey has done thus far.

That and paying cash money and next years' 2nd rounder for Landry who when signed became the 3rd PF on a team with 4 PG's. Had they not signed Landry and accumulated PG's, they could have kept Sura on the roster to use as an expiring contract. Sura's and Snyder's combined expirings make MLE $.

Guess some of us have a different definition of "excellent job".

Dallas trade with NJ is delayed. Well, maybe a three way trade is needed
if Devean is to be included or excluded. If we could get in as well to dump Synder or MJ, that would be interesting.

No trades please... WIth an 8 game winning streak, it will mess up our chemistry except of course if we trade MJ or Snyder

I think we need a trade, especially after the performance last night. It would be nice to get someone, without giving up someone in our rotation.

That is going to be hard. If we do make a trade without giving up someone in the rotation, it's not going to be anything significant. Then again, if we do trade for someone then somebody will be left out of the rotation to fit in the new guy. So we mine as well trade a rotation player if we are trying to get a deal that would push us over the top.

Thats true, but the only players I think that should be moved out of the rotation are Hayes, Head, and Brooks (If we get a back up PG in return).

We don't need a trade. 17 of the last 20 - 'nuff said. Don't mess with the chemistry now of all times.
