I think we avoided ESPN's basement because the guy probably concluded that we can't be THAT bad - must be a fluke. Two performances like that in a row, though, will earn us the bottom spot.

Da boys have a good chance to go 4-0 and then we will see about the Eagles game. I think the Cowboys are prime to upset Philly because their secondary is definetly deep and their pass rush seems improved.

Dr. Z is great. Agree hold heartily that the Texans deserve the cellar. Buffalo has a good defense but the offenses performance on Sunday was atrocious. Looks like the Titans and Texans may fight it out for doormat of the league this year.

Not if USC was #32 and Texas #33. Unless you think Tennessee should be up there too. :)

I knew that would come back to haunt me. This was a gift to the Redskins. The Cowboys gave this one away. Bunch of p*****s.

Give Moss and Brunnell more credit than that. He ran a 2 good routes and it was 2 perfect throws. Other than that, this game should have been in the books.

The Sean Taylor hit was awesome.

More like Roy Williams didn't make the reads fast enough on those plays? He's already says it was all on him but there's plenty of blame to spread around. Here's a list:

1.) Missed FG from a close distance early in the game.
2.) Adams holding late in game on Johnson catch for first down.
3.) Conservative play calling of 3 runs in a row only to set up last FG position when we should have been going for touchdown.
4.) Dropped interception in the hands of Roy Williams in the end zone would have clinched game but he didn't catch it and it was right to him.
5.) Bledsoe throwing for 3 yard pass on a 4th and 4. He did that all game on 3rd downs where he threw short when we needed to get a 1st down. With the way the Redskins defense was hammering us, no chance for receivers to make up the first down yardage.
6.) 3rd and long and Brunell runs to make up most of it giving them life on 4th down.

Most of the blame can go to Roy Williams. He definitely had some late reads on those two crucial plays for the TD bombs.

I hope this(losing close games) sets the tone for the Cowboys season. We should have lost our first game but got lucky. I expect a lot better from this team and the fact that they didn't perform against a rival makes me angry. Take away the flea-flicker and we wouldn't even have a TD. The running game was horrible all night. The passing game was inept at best because of the decision making(underthrowing on 3rd downs)...even with a good offensive line performance.

Granted, Brunell threw two great passes and Williams/Glenn just got smoked on both plays. Its kind of a wake-up call. We're not that good and it showed.

Was the shaun taylor hit the one that sent the ball flying like 8 yards backwards?

If so, that hit was freakin awesome. We are all up and yelling Oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Great game if you tuned in at the 4:58 mark in the 4th quarter. I was so happy to see the Cowgirls lose, mainly because a friend of mine is a fan.

Wow... worst in the NFL. That's really really aweful

And, ya know, there were 70,000 people at that game Sunday. It's a shame - the fans deserve better.

Honestly I think Minnesota is in much worse shape. there were "experts" out there who actually thought they would be better without Moss. I won the first time I ever played fantasy football taking Culpepper in the fourth round the year he first started. Dude carried my team. I thought he would at least function well without Moss, but 8 picks and no TDs so far. Yikes

It's about right. Looking at the schedule and the product they've put on the field, a 3-13 season is not out of the question.
