The voters got the winner right, but Berkman had a waaaay better year than Howard, Braun, Manny, and pretty much everyone else in the NL. Chipper Jones has an argument for #2, but I think he missed enough time to vault Lance into the second slot.

You can always make a case for certain players in certain situations.... but when its all said and done, Albert Pujols is the best ******* hitter of this generation.

Whats scary is that the guy is still in his 20's (supposedly).

So you're saying that Pujols is only 15?

Pujols is just a freak of nature. What I'm impressed as hell with is the guy is fairly ruled out when it comes to being a steroid candidate. He could be using some sort of ultra secret steroid, but in an era of super rigid steroid testing, the guy is just an absolute freak when it comes to hitting.

Berkman wasn't even close. Lee would be talking NL MVP if he was healthy. Berkman had a solid year, but he just needed more to seriously garner more MVP votes.
