The only problem with that is i don't trust Aaron in the 4th with the ball. Likely to turn it over.

Kyle Lowry couldn't start on a bad team, so what makes you think he can start for the Rockets.

What makes me feel good is that Zydraunaus (SP) had the same surgery for Cleveland as Yao, and he has had no issues since then...

Knock on wood same goes for Yao.

Just look at Aaron Brooks in the 4th quarter and overtime, both making the big 3pt shot, and the great pass to Scola, and then hitting the clinching FT.

    Sometimes, this board preplexes me.

Kyle Lowry can't be a starter??!!! DD you're kidding right? Kyle is a better starter, in many ways except scoring, than Brooks. That is because he is a true point and Brooks is more of a SG.

Come on DD that's not fair. Using one good game clip to prove your point, when the majority of the season he was turning the ball over during crunch time and you, just like everybody else, was cursing at the t.v.

Brooks is a scoring PG, and in case you were wondering, that is what it takes to win in the NBA these days.

Got to be a threat to score the ball, unless your name is Rafer Alston of course.

Until Kyle can score the ball, he is a bench player - PERIOD !

Now back to the all Bosh channel, where we do 24 hours of Bosh.....

    ;)

Coming off the bench and he would come off the bench for the other 29 teams.
Has it click for you yet that kyle is a bench player and nothing more.

Lebatard is reporting Bosh to MIA for Anthony, Chalmers + Beasley

    We'll see, I guess

Wow - no picks? That would truly be a reaming of Toronto.

Tor could definitely get more, but, if Bosh is set on playing in MIA, there's not much they can do. He can sign there outright, and the Raps get nothing. Yes, he'll lose out on 30M over the course of the contract, but that's not a bluff a team is willing to call.

On my phone so can't cut and paste.

Surely somebody can google him and find it

It's all Bosh... All the time. It's like the Truman Show except he knows what's going on, and instead of Ed Harris, the role of God is being played by Daryl Morey.

DD are you suggesting that it's getting a little old?

Toronto likes Noah, may ask for him.

    .

I think you missed his point. He said Andrew Bynum = Yao Ming as in they're often injured. So eliminate Yao and Bynum. Then he mentions we have 3-4 other options to play C where as the Lakers have Pau Gasol and who else?

Brooks is a great young starting PG in the NBA. He has speed and can light it up. You trade Brooks only if you're going to get an elite player back. This player must be an Allstar. Secondly, if you trade Brooks, you better have a person that can replace him. This is where Kyle Lowry comes into play.

We all have seen how important Lowry is to this team but there's a reason why he isn't a starter in the NBA. He can't hit the outside shot. If he was able to hit the outside shot, I can promise you Houston would have a hard time fighting off other teams from signing him this summer. With Yao coming back and with a chance to acquire a player like Bosh, you need a PG that can make defensives pay when they double either of those players. Kyle can't do that but AB can. That's why AB is very important as Kyle for this team and it's also the reason why AB is the starter on this team.

Last time I checked, both the Lakers and Celtics were in the Finals. I don't remember either team having a scoring PG.

So that would leave Wade and Bosh on their roster. Maybe add LeBron. Paul Pierce. Need one more!

I'd say there are a few good starting PGs out there that can't "hit the outside shot."

Has nothing to do with my opinion on Brooks vs. Lowry though, I'd choose Brooks any day. Just saying.
