No homerism my friend. We do have the best S&T offer available.

I sure think we do. They want chalmers/beasly, we could offer Hill/Trevor/Jermaine/Patrick, or any combination of those not to mention draft picks, and right to switch draft picks with NY.

Not really. Team with cap space can offer a massive TE + picks + other assets. There's no filler contracts, ie having to take back $10M+ of salary owed, be it Battier, JJ, etc...

If we traded Battier we could give them money to facilitate a buyout so that Battier could return to the Rockets, and the Raptors wouldn't have to take back "filler contracts".

I would agree with you if Kyle was a deadly knock down shooter.

The under-the-cap teams offering large trade exceptions (or Dallas offering Dampier's $13M non-guaranteed contract) could throw just as much cash into the deal, up to the max of $3M. And they likely will. The Rockets CANNOT compete with those teams from a 2010-11 salary cap and financial standpoint. They will have to differentiate themselves by offering the best package of young players and picks, SO much better than every other team's offers that Toronto (or whichever team) is willing to take on an additional $13.2M of guaranteed salary commitments for next season.

Watching Mike & Mike this morning.. Ric Bucher was their guest.

Apparently Bosh told the media that he didn't think it would work out if all three went to Miami.

And Ric also explained that Bosh doesn't want to be the undersized 'big' for a team.. ala Miami.. and that he wants to play alongside a center.

This sounds like great news for Houston... BUT... just like all of us, I'm sure Bosh is uneasy about Yao's health.

That sounds like us, Lakers, or Orlando.

Wow, can you imagine him in Orlando next to Howard, with Lewis sliding back to SF? Isn't VC an expiring this year?

I forgot how good that draft was.

Lakers have the same problem as us though with their oft injured center. We have 3/4 options to play center if Yao misses games (knock on wood) whereas the Lakers have Pau Gasol and ????? who else?

Rajon Rondo isnt a deadly knockdown shooter but he has shooters all around him, so does Kyle, his shot isnt as big a deal as everyone like to make it

Kyle Lowry is no Rajon Rondo, not even close to his level.

Kyle Lowry doesn't have to play like Rondo to lead this team to a championship.

True, he just has to come off the bench, where he belongs.

Chicago's got Noah to man the center spot, as well.

why does he belong on the bench? cuz of ur love affair with AB? if we get Bosh (which is lookin more and more feasible) AB may be gone and if so Id feel very confident with Kyle runnin the point, hes not the scorer that AB is, but when do u need ur PG to dominate the rock and take away from the flow of the offense? last yr it was great wat Brooks did but this yr with Yao and another impact FA returning he cant do that.. mayb in the 4th if we need someone to step up Im fine with him gettin his own shot but not the entire game

Because he is not good enough to be a starter in the NBA.

Until he can be a threat to shoot a jump shot, he is a great, off the bench, energy player, someone who comes in and gets the team running.

In a half court set, he is exposed worse than a naked guy in a trench coat.

And yes, I like AB, because he is just flat out better than Kyle.

Sure for Toronto but it all depends if Bosh WANTS to play in Houston. We can have the best S&T offers in the world and it won't matter if Bosh doesn't see himself as a Rocket.
