Their big fat centers seem to fare better in the NBA than their athletic guys.

Stanley Roberts, Shaq, Glenn Davis > Stromile, Randolph, Thomas.

let's keep in mind that "interest" can simply mean they called to ask what the asking price was..it would be stupid on morey's part to not at least ask, that's enough to consider them interested, but it's likely the asking price is too much.

If you want to break plays so you can try to create something out of nothing using your athleticism you'd better be Iggy or Thad Young, not Anthony Randolph.

If people remember... Before Donte Greene was suddenly shipped out Adelman wasn't too happy with him.

Anthony Randolph has hall of fame potential.

Do whatever you can to get him, without killing the core...

To say he needs a change of scenery would be an understatement.

Golden State is the worst possible environment for a young player to mature and grow.

Stephen Jackson was the elder statesmen there until he was traded ffs.

    Most likely scenario I see:

    McGrady, Landry, Anderson

    Randolph, Biedrins, Maggette, Bell, Turiaf

I don't think people understand this.

Everyone has problems with Nelson and crew, so i'm not sure it is attitude problems with him.

They probably want more guards, try to include Taylor in the deal, he can play power forward for them.

Whereas I love Randolph's athleticism and potential, where do you play him? His natural position is PF, but I don't think he would be very happy playing behind Scola or Landry. Further, if we trade Scola or Landry (most likely Landry), what kind of sweetener do we get? A swap of first round picks would be nice but not likely. Their second round pick might do, although in the short run this trade would favor Golden State.

    The only logical deal is........

McGrady and Cook for Monta, Andres, and Randolph.

We eat salary to get a young talent. GS gets major cap relief and a chance to "start over" again. We get under lux tax for this year.

That's the only deal that makes sense for both sides. Otherwise, move on.

My only concern if we got him would be where he plays? Can he play the 3? Cause then Ariza could just play the 2.
    Hayes
    Scola
    Randolph
    Ariza
    Brooks
    Thats nasty.

as a warriors fan...i am disgusted by the stupid decisions by stupid GMs year after year...if warriors GMs that were half as smart as D. Morey i would be satisfied.

Warriors had a chance to get Amare Stoudamire! but noo stupid warriors origanization decided to KEEP stephen curry and not ahead with the trade for amare.... stupidest mistake. now everyone including stephen curry is on the block. WELL DONE IDIOTS!

Ps: thats why stephen jackson felt betrayal had to leave the warriors. the warriors lied to ellis and jackson saying they were bringing in veteran players(include amare) to help push for a playoff spot. instead they fell in love with an unproven rookie stephen curry.

we would have to take a large salary like maggette back to get this trade to work... if it was a 3 way trade with the Knicks Warriors and Rockets we would probably get another bad contract like Eddy Curry's

What's nasty with Hayes at center? At least you could move Scola to center (still small), Randolph at PF; Ariza at SF; Budinger at SG; and Brooks at PG.
