[ESPN] New York, Houston have interest in Anthony Randolph?

Who's on GS with a large salary that we could dump T-mac in this deal? Looks like we may have to eat a larger salary to get the benefit of Randolph.

Huh just checked no one anywhere near that size...maybe a 3 team deal with Miami?

I would think Morey is looking to partner a T-mac salary dump, pick up a good young player and then pick up an albatross contract. That contract would be how we are able to "steal" a Randolph for example.

There must be some interesting conversations. Scola is a FA to be, Landry and AB have great performance to cost value, someone will need to go. If Morey is true to moneyball he will attempt to move one of these guys before they start commanding 10 million a year salaries.

Rox (TMAC)
Blazers (Blake/Miller issues)
Warriors (Nelson finally going completely wacky)
Heat (Shake things up/LOVE for TMAC)

Interestingly enough each has pieces the other would covet, not easy to create 2 team trades let alone 4 way deals but if the Jays, Phillies, A's and Blue Jays could do it in MLB why not in the NBA where we see multiple team deals more often.

I smell massive 4 way trade coming...i'll figure something out soon

Maggette/Biedrins/Randolph for McGrady/Cook would make Golden State jump, probably, but I would ate that. Replace Biedrins with Ellis and it's a lot more favorable for us.

But I think DD suggested this exact trade in another thread. It'd be nice if we could offload Maggette elsewhere, too.

Chuck is repped by BDA as well... so they likely have a decent rapport with Daryl... so maybe he doesn't mind being used as such.

They probably want us to take on Corey Maggette's contract since he is old, expensive, and doesn't fit in their system. They will probably throw in Speedy Claxton and Raja Bell (both expiring) in there to make the salary work. So may be something like TMac+JTaylor+Dorsey for Maggette+Randolph+Calxton+Bell?

It works on ESPN Trade Machine except that you can't trade Claxton and Bell until Jan. 16.

I'd tend to agree with this. The Warriors just don't seem to know what they want, they are severely lacking in direction and I put that down to Nellie. He had no idea how he wants to coach the team and what he wants out of his players. One night they might be playing 30 minutes the next they are lucky to see any court time at all.

 

Randolph is also from LSU. All three of them are from the same school

 

I am but if you want to get him one of the PF's we have must be packaged with others to make it work. Definantly would have to be a 3 team deal.
