What about Boston? Their defense is freakin-ridiculou. They contained LeBron to 6-24 shooting, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 turnovers tonight. Lebron has been shooting less than 20% in this series (8-42).

I said just about anyone. And if Boston is so great, they certainly didn't prove that by letting their series with the Hawks go to 7 games.

Our defence was second to only Boston's this year.

Thing is, had we just one more guy who could create his own shot on offense, we'd be 2-0 up on the Lakers at the present time.

Let's not forget we lost the first 2 games without our top PG. And the last game when he went out injured.

In games Alston was fit, 2-1 Houston.

    We had Ming injured
We had Francis injured - he WAS starting to fit the system before he went down.

The good thing about going out early is that it looks like we need to REALLY add something significant 'just in case' - so hopefully we get that real peice at the 2/3 that Adelman's been talking about! And PERHAPS a backup C who is taller than 6'6 and can make a layup (no offense Chuck...)

I say we have a 3 year window win a ring, unless we find a way to replace mcgrady once he gets even older and slower.

Man without a ring, the Tmac/Yao era will never be remmebered and disrespected. Yao is a really great player and so is T-Mac. I don't know what has to be done but I really hope they do something special....win the whole thing at least once.

i predict 3 or 4 years of wars with the lakers, i think if we get a pg like hinrich or someone better than raf and a 3rd scoring option ala miller the only team that can beat us is the lakers and vice versa when bynum gets back
