[ESPN] Nets have permission to talk to Melo about extension

    Carmelo's not going to say anything about talking to people until the Denver GM tells him he can....

    Right now, the only information is the press saying he can...it's the press, they're half way between full of $hit and load of cr@p

    Carmello and everyone else has known that the Nets and Nuggets have been trying to put together some kind of deal that would make everyone happy. I find it strange that all these people would be trying to arrange a large multi-team trade if Carmello hadn't told someone he would sign with the Nets. Carmello has known for a long time that great effort was being put forth by a lot of people to make a deal, why wouldn't he just tell the Nuggets and his agent that he will not play for the Nets.

    If Denver wants something back, Melo will end up with the rockets. I know, captain obvious lol
