if you thought his team's picks were bad, you should read some of his articles when he was with slam magazine. that ricky davis article was horrendous. even the people thats really up to date on ebonics language, had a hard time reading that ricky davis article in slam issue #69. (stevie and yao on the cover).
Rockets 42(Tmac 9/Yao 8/bench 7) Cavalier 46(LBJ 10/Hughes 8/bench 8) Mavericks 45(Howard 8) Nuggets 43 Piston 50(Prince 8) Pacers 48(Artest 9/bench 9) Heat 50( Wade 10/bench 9) Nets 48(Jefferson 9/Carter 9/Bench 8) Magic 43 Suns 44 Kings 47(Bibby 9) Spurs 51 Sonics 44 Wizards 45(Arenas 9) we are ranked 14th in the league and 7 eastern teams are better than us.
I don't think its a coincidence that the three guys that have actually been in the NBA (Legler, Perdue and O'brein) all had favorable things to say about the Rockets, basically saying that we are going tho be the biggest threat to the Spurs. Which I think is the correct analysis (all my homer instincts aside), the rest of these hacks (aside from Buecher and Stein who I kinda like) are just trying to be the next Steven A. Smith trying to act like they have some kind of street cred or something, "Yao needs a Dawg next to him", Holy bejeezus that putz should be fired just for that blurb.
besides SI and only a select few at espn, all of the analysts are idiots. the other day some one on realgm posted a link to hoopsworld preview....they have us missing the palyoffs. i feel bad for people that dumb.
