i am not good at math, how can you have nine teams in the west all have 50% change of making [layoff?

 

Because 8 make it ... If you add up all the percentages, it should be close to 800%.

how can we have a higher chance of becoming the nba champs than the spurs and have a lower chance of advancing to the Finals?

 

I think Hornets may fall.

 

Could be that Spurs match up better against all the WC teams than the Rockets, but just a bit poorer against the EC teams than the Rockets. It makes sense to me.

 

It means that the Rockets have a much larger chance than the Spurs to beat the EC champs once they get into the finals.

Predictions either make feeble minds feel good or angry. Predictions are intended to satisfy the thirst for knowing. Or with certain people to bet money on it.


All these predictions say is that the Rockets are doing well right now. And they have a shot at winning it all.

Isn't that why we watch the team to begin with?

 

They're only a couple of games behind. There's no real distance between seeds. One bad week and we could be out of the playoffs. Have to win those gimme games and play hard against the better teams!
