would it be cool to trade Rafer/Steve for Sam/Cuttino?

Sam is back to his Clutch City duties of splitting time at PG (old age catching up) and Cuttino seems to matured in his shot selection.

You can't have Cat without Stevie!

I wish the salaries for a Sammy/Cat for Rafer/James deal would work.

    C) Ming/Mutombo
    PF) Hayes/Scola
    SF) Battier/Wells
    SG) McGrady/Mobley
    PG) SAMMY/Francis

Gives us great continuity. SAMMY is a direct link to the Clutch City Days. Mobes played with the last incarnation of the Big Three. Stevie was the link between the Olajuwon and Ming eras... If only we could pick up ROBERT HORRY somehow as well.

*Sigh* At least we can do it in the 2K games.

    Ben Wallace == disaster.

And Paxson wasted every trade asset that came from the Eddie Curry trade. What is the point of drafting Thomas (and not moving him) with Wallace on board? And how can Noah -- whose shot is as ugly as his face -- balance their front-court offensively? That team is going to live and die by Gordon's shooting.

I did! Smeggy probably thought so too! I always thought Cat was the better player. That is why I ways upset we let him go for Tmac.

Cat has handles, a good to great first step, a good jumpshot, a post up game, and plays D. The only weakness in his game is that he doesn't have great court vision but he's a two guard so that really doesn't effect his value.

Cat is Battier with tangibles. If the clips where will to give Cat for Battier, I would jump on it like a cheap hooker.

As players, Cat and Battier are in no way alike. And Battier has "no tangibles?" Call me crazy but I think he's putting up decent production for you guys, even though he's definitely lost a step on defense (at least against small forwards).

Forget Kobe, why don't the Bulls try and get Cuttino? He can score, he can play defense, granted he's obviously not Kobe's level, but the Bulls wouldn't have to mortgage their entire team, keep Luol Deng, and get a Kobe-lite kinda player.

Quite a few of us liked Cat over Francis. I saw that game and Cat was just toying with Hinrich in the block down the stretch. I wish the Rox could somehow get Cat back, and the Francis trade thread has one of my more out there attempts.

It's just that I thought he was married. Also found it strange that he would kiss them since they (Cippers) were on the road. They (the two girls) must have been serious Mobley fans.

I would take either Cat for Sam for Head + filler (or maybe Brooks instead).

Get some more clutch shooting and veteran backcourt presence, win now baby.
