Oh! Well, I was just thrown off a bit because his English was pretty good :p

Another thing is...I did not read the title, to be honest. It was mostly because of the stupid three question marks. I don't see as something that was legible so I just glanced over the title.

    Thanks. And now I know...cuz it's Yam's super-short show.

One time I had just met a new coworker at my job. Now, I look like someone whose ancestors came from China, my name is Chinese, and no one has ever confused me for an Italian. After a few minutes he asked me with a straight serious tone, "So are you Italian?"

I, and the rest of the group of coworkers who heard it, looked at him like he was the dumbest person ever. I waited a beat to see if he would grin or show some sign that he was joking. He kept staring at me like he was serious.

I answered in a sarcastic tone, "Yea, I'm Italian."

    He said flatly, "Cool."

Still one of the most memorable misjudgments I've ever seen.

Legler has no idea what the hell he's talking about. "squeezed the most out of role players"...those role players included a 2nd yr aaron brooks, 2nd year landry, 2nd yr (in the NBA) Scola... We;ve got a YOUNG and ENERGETIC team with more athleticism than we've had in YEARS! AB only started like the last 20-some games of the season and carried us against the Lakers after Yao went down. This team plays with SWAGGER and HEART. That'll be more than enough to get us to at least 6th or 7th.

When did Tracy McGrady hand over the team to Yao Ming? Even if he said it, it has never been put into action!
Yam & legler will eat their words by the end of the season!
    Mark my words! :p

Legler clueless once again when it comes to predicting the Rockets. The Rockets will once again prove the nay sayers wrong. I can't wait for this team to gel and make the damn playoffs once again. RA will be coach of the year.

I am not underestimating our players. I think we got a great team. its just that i feel they are merely role players. They feed of yao and tmac. Brooks is great, I personally feel he could be a border line all star. The thing with him is that he made two preseason games look easy. Which i am not convinced by. I am not saying he is not good, just that in a regular season game, they are going to make adjustments and the help D would be much more aggresive. Before tmac gets back, i am not sure if we are going to win many games. Once tmac comes back, it should be better, but i am still having doubts about whether our guys can step up to the challenge on a consistant basis. You are right, we have had great stretches without yao in the lineup, with tmac leading our role players, and now argueably we have a better team than during our 22 streak. Its just that i feel our guys have yet experienced situations when other teams actually plan their D according to them. Previously it was all about Ding up Yao. Now we going to have situations where they concentrate on brooks, scola and laundry. This includes guys like ariza and shane. They are not going to have as much wide open looks anymore. We have to remember that ariza was prob the 4th option on the lakers. That is different to now being the 2nd or 3rd option.

Again i am not disagreeing with you. I hope you are right in saying we are going to make the playoffs easy if tmac comes back to his old self. I am just having doubts thats all.

I truly believe AB is going to be a star. When he's on, he reminds me a lot of shoot first Chris Paul. Before you start raising eyebrows, let me explain. I see Chris Paul to be the general on the floor, a facilitator who makes his teammates better and is absolutely one of the most creative point guards in the game. He's had a lot freedom to do that in NO and had a compelment of athletic players to fit in. I think AB played more within his role when Yao was there, as Yao was an important scoring threat and focal point of our offense. Now, the game and the offensive scheme has opened up and it will allow AB to blossom, but not just as a scorer, but on all facets of his game. When he needed to step up, he exploded, just look at the 30 pt game he put up against the Lakers. People seem to quick to overlook performances like that or to write if off as a fluke. I think he will only be limited by himself, and from all signs, he looks like he's willing to put in the work. As far as Legler and his comments (and most of the other analysts for that matter), AB is one guy I'm sure of that hasn't been an "overachiever".

They would struggle bigtime with the contenders and with the pace even the lesser teams will play well. The team is really small and tracy will be back early.

    bigez,

    isn't Mike Yam your boy?

you need to get back on the radio or something. Nothing was better than NBA Radio FCP with Kenny Smith and BigEZ as the caller!

Rockets will make the playoffs with either the 7th or 8th seed.
