I've always been a fan of making a move for Melo without an extension, understanding the guy is as good as gone in the offseason but after watching the team so far, I don't know anymore. Would he help, of course, and it wouldn't take half the team to get it done but it would take the Knicks draft swap next year and that could be GOLD. With Melo, are we good enough to beat the big boys and is Yao going to be 100% when he comes back from ANOTHER injury?

 

Morey is upset because KMart didn't wear a Melo costume last haloween. So I guess he's leaving..

 

He will be in a new city by the end of the season anyway. He'll pull a Lebron and give a half-ass effort if we make the playoffs cause he knows he isn't staying. We'll lose good players and possibly draft picks. No way I would do it if it Martin, Scola, or even Yao was in the deal.

 

Sign me up. The team in it's current state isn't going anywhere regardless.

I think the Rockets can easily find replacements for players like Brooks, Lowry, Lee, Bud, etc... They just haven't been able get that star level player.

 

If he comes here I would get his jersey so I could burn it later once he leaves.

 

Depending on what is given up, we could show Carmelo that we have a great supporting cast, genius gm, & owner is willing to spend.

Oh and let alone how fans in Houston will welcome Carmelo Anthony, nothing but LOVE.
