I'd say so. Too many pros and not enough cons:

-He can score on any type of big
-He rebounds well on any type of big too.
-He can play half court or run the floor AND finish.
-His stats are all solid, it not more than solid.
    -He's a true "good" guy
    -High basketball IQ
    - Post game and jumpshot
    - Durable, this one is very underrated in my opinion

the only cons are his defense and age. However, his game can be effective up to about 33 or 34 yrs of age. That's a 5 yr contract right there, so it's worth it...So it's really just his D that's an issue and it's not that poor since he does hustle and contest.

It's too early to know who'll offer a contract, but i wouldnt be surprised if Cleveland and LA tried to acquire him via sign and trade if their playoff runs are a lot worse than expect. Gasol has his issues with Kobe, so it wouldnt surprise me if he was shopped around if they fell short of reaching the finals.

I hope Scola is worried about being moved. That means Morey has the upper hand come contract negotiations time. Just like how Yao should be worried for getting injured too many damn times.

Doubt Scola is going anywhere. Imagine a team saving up all the cap room for a FA hit this summer, telling their fans they are suffering through bad basketball in the hope of getting a Lebron, a Wade, a Bosh, a Stoudemire or even a Joe Johnson or Carlos Boozer.

And then you take that cap space and sign soon to be 30-year old Scola to a deal unreasonable enough that Daryl Morey wouldn't match? Scola is a good player but not exactly the kind of guy you parade around in front of your fans as the franchise difference maker.
