Some desperate team will offer Smith 15 million (PHX?). Unless you think HOU should give him that much. you shouldn't advocate for him, especially through trade.

Who are you to say who he should or shouldn't advocate for? The Rockets will offer max salary to another player - and I hope you are holding your breath for Lebron, Durant or Carmelo.

Hickson, David West or Josh Smith. Why wait for the offseason when the Rockets have a chance to improve themselves heading into the postseason. Make the trade. Pinning offseason hopes on Dwight Howard is the height of insanity.

Milsap is 6'6.25 without shoes, Smith is 6'7 without shoes. Only 3/4's of a inch taller. -Draft express.

Millsap has long arms and plays bigger than his height.

Not that we're trading for him or signing him or anything, just saying, what he lacks in height he can make up for in beast.

Houston is still lingering in Josh Smith talks, but Atlanta's desire for Asik and Parsons is a non-starter for Rockets, sources tell Y

I know it's Woj, but there is no way in hell the Hawks can actually expect to get that in return

Remember, Houston has the space to sign Smith as a free agent this summer. They're not going to overpay to trade for him now.

Like Woj just tweeted, Why would we give up Parsons and Asik when we can just sign Smith in the off-season, Moreys not dumb. Atlanta is going to have to move him if they want to get something for him before he leaves in the off-season.
