i'm done discussing this topic seeing as i've discovered what your real motive is. at first i thought you were just trying to prove i was oversensitive. but once we got down to it, it was really all about proving stereotypes as being true. wonder why you ignored that article in the college, international, draft portion that said asians could jump higher and were more athletic and how it was written by a white person. true, there are a lot of white athletes, but does that mean the number of athletes determine how good you are in a sport? white people are the majority in golf, but why is it one guy by the name of tiger woods, a minority, half asian, and half black is the best player in the tournament. :D

Uhh...yeah, thats what Ive been saying all along. I said that, for the most part, stereotypes are true. Thus, I was proving it to you.

I didnt ignore it. I told you to show me where to find this info.

the info is on the clutchcity.net forum. somebody already posted it in this clutchcity bbs but in the college, draft, international forum. get it? the guy also happens to be a european basketball scout and he's observed how the talent there is higher. that's his opinion and some other basketball players opinions. i've read articles that quoted white people as saying that out of all the foreign teams, the only next most athletic to the US is China. That's their opinion. not mine. i'm not trying to prove stereotypes true.

That article does nothing to prove your point.

First off, the comment made that "China is the most athletic foreign team" was made by some random guy that played basketball at Howard.

Secondly, his comment relates China to other "foreign" countries, not the U.S.

In essence, I repeat, you did nothing to prove your point.

they said it in the washington post a while back. it's not my opinion.

also if asians are really shorter than caucasian people, then why is it that, a detroit pistons scout went over to china and said he found like 20 7 footers in one area between the ages 11-13 or something like that and he said, you can't find 4 or 5 7 footers at that age in america.

In America, the 7 footers arent told to play basketball. Not all of them choose that sport.

There is data on the height issue....No need to discuss it with me.

you do realize that not all athletic teams win right? the rockets are more athletic than a lot of other teams, but do they have a better record than some non-athletic teams? if you can shoot good, and you got better coaching, you can win more. and if you also have better facilities and training methods, it also helps.

Look dude, if you want to talk strictly about athletic ability, look no further than the olympics. Do the research and stop arguing with me.

not all 7 footers are told to play basketball either in china. some of them happen to be discovered if they play in a basketball tournament or sometimes these scouts go to villages and find them. also since you used a korean example vs white people to prove that whites are superior in height. don't you know china is known for having taller people than korea. also don't you think that if we were to average all asians(asians make up most of the world's population), we would be averaging more people than whites would and the score might come out uneven?

Do you realize how many 7 footers play college basketball in the United States? Per capita, it is more than China.

What? Do you want me to say that the Chinese are taller, on average, than white people? Its not true.

When its an average you are talking about, the NUMBER of people is insignificant. I thought asians were good in math.
