A couple of days after Francis signed his contract which was about 3 weeks ago I guess.

so, Stevie's shoulder is 'ok'? Great. And Mo can't dunk. Better not be a sign...of impending Kempitis.

Yeah, RL, take the MCE and play yearround in the home of hoops!

Francis was on tv a few weeks ago playing down there...apparently he can do what he wants on the court but the docs told him to avoid rebounding. I guess they don't want both arms in the up position for whatever reason.

    Fantastic article. Me loved.

(sigh) Makes me wish we had Rashard.

I like the stuff about Steve, I like the way Lucas is pushing him. "You gotta want it."

That was the most uplifting article I have read this whole offseason. :D :D I can't wait for the season to start. The one thing I didn't know how to take was "They added 7'5" Yao Ming and Slovenian forward Bostjan Nachbar (who might provide more immediate impact than Yao) in the draft." Is this a positive about Boki or a negative about Ming?

Lewis come home you fit this team so much better than Dallas. ;)

That sounds exactly like what oeilpere has said a couple of weeks ago... He WANTS to play for the Rockets.

A lot of people will be eating crow if we end up pulling this one off.

How much weight could Mo T lose in 3 weeks?

If he could ALMOST dunk 3 weeks ago, I'm sure he can dunk right now. So I guess he'll be in proper shape as soon as the season starts. Assuming he's lost like 10lbs in the 3 weeks, and he loses 10 more from now till the end of preseason.

Actually, I'd like to see Mo T SLIM DOWN from his playing weight. He doesn't use his body that much, and the extra quickness would really elevate his game.

Good point. Wonder if he could lose enough to justify him as a 3, and Griff gain enough to play him full time at the 4? I realize he'll get beat by the odd quick 3, but if he's quicker, it might not be soo bad, besides, as is he gets beat by many a 4, so what do you lose?

    some thoughts:

-mooch needs to work on his basketball IQ....BADLY!

-i dont know what i would do if steve was just named MVP :D

-mo needs to lose 20 more lbs, but it sounds like he can play well.

-i think adding mario ellie to the staff isnt a bad idea.
