    Exactly.

He can become a Hall of Famer and even thrive at some things that Harden hasn't...... but he is never going to average 37 points a game for a season or average nearly 30 points a game over a 6-7 year span.

I love the kid, and think he is great for the game but he isn't James Harden.

The Hawks really thought Trae Toung was better than this kid.

If I was the Suns I would’ve drafted Doncic and traded Devin Booker for a rim rolling big. Why did he have to end up in Dallas.

curious to see how that would play out

i imagine nba fans finding new mental gymnastics to do to love doncic but demonize harden even if they were the exact same player.

What we need to do is get Luka the hell out of that franchise so I can root for him.

Love his game. He's a characteristic fusion of Steph and Harden. He has Steph's brazenness and cockiness on the court, Harden's savvy and knowledge of reading defenses despite not having next level athleticism.

    I think he's a future MVP.

He says the game here feels slower than Europe. That to me shows he hasn't been scared and don't know what he doesn't know. Put him through adversity and more burden on him, then we will see what he is up to. I am not ready to even call him sure superstar in this league yet.

Luka has kobe Bryant skills with the arrogance.

The good people of Dallas gonna pay to see how play.

I find it funny how on social media people comment on him and say how awesome his game is and they enjoy it but it’s so damn near harden .. like really? The hate is so real. I’m sick of it

No. The media are not unfairly biased against him so he will never be the next Harden.

Many players had great first season in the league and some of them vanished. Bit too early to tell but he definitely looks legit and future mvp but will see how career goes. Quick note no one thought Jimmy would become the best player in the nba one day let alone breaking mj's and kobe's records

He is more LeBron than anything. Doesn't have handles nor sidestep quite like Harden.

ps. I remember when people bashed me when i said it's white LeBron pre-draft and that some Bagleys and Traes are way better than him. Well... that didn't age well. Everybody in Europe knew he would dominate. There is ton of guys from NCAA/post NBA (like Tucker in his Greek days) in Euroleague that didn't do half a thing like this kid at 17

Has to carve out a niche for himself.

I remember the 6th man days when ppl would call JH a better Manu Ginobili.

Well, and the game is changing. Dun let it pass you by.
