    F
    Tim Legler
    Jamal Mashburn
    Jalen Rose
    Ric Bucher
    Swim Cash
    Charles Barkley
    Kenny Smith
    Fran Blindbury

and the many other so called "experts" who prematurely wrote off the Rockets and still continue to do so.

Props to John Hollinger for actually taking an objective stance and not buying into all of the Rockets-hate BS that is so prevalent in the media.

I like staying in the dark and go unnoticed and that whole element of surprise thing. But, I think that just because ESPN isn't making a big deal out of this doesn't mean that the players aren't. They know what they're up against when they face a surging team on a huge streak. They even play harder so they can be the one to break the streak.

As far as ESPN goes.....you will be ignored unless you are located ont one of the coasts or are Chicago.

It's a business. But that still leaves no excuse for those idiots that make moronic comments. It's one thing to be ignore by the Network, but it's another to have those few comments that DO sneak in there be so inaccurate.

I say let them say what they want because it's so awesome watching them
squirm around their own stupidity the day after yet another Rockets' win and have to stare at the proof that they are totally clueless

Man, we are facing the best every team has because everyone wants to stop the streak. Add in the rivalry between the Mavs and Houston and the apparent personal dislike between a few Hornet players and some Rocket players and you are going to tell me we didn't get both team's A game? Both teams are without a doubt two of the top 10 teams in the league and tried to take us out and didn't even come close. The Mavs were even at home.

I went to bed, I wasn't going to lose sleep to argue with you ;)

With your response you are missing my point. My point was a female team at any level a team that spends as much time practicing as a rec team would be beaten by any other male team. And the fact that you could "beat" cheryl swoopes doesn't prove that she knows less than you about the sport.

Just because I might not be able to beat you at the sport doesn't mean that I know less about it than you. And just because you are a male doesn't mean that you can beat any female you take on the court.

It just irritates me that people think that because a female is talking about basketball you think its worthless. And the fact that you are sharing that opinion with other people makes you a sexist and that makes me sad.

I guess you think all female collegiate sports should be canceled to pay for more male sports... because obviously they are bigger and taller therefore more important.

Swin Cash is no worse than a number of other male "analysts" on ESPN. And I think Doris Burke (she did a Rockets game recently on ESPN) does an excellent job.

Dude, I'm with you on the "experts" but you need to get your facts straight. I know for a fact that Jalen Rose AND Jamal Mashburn said the Rockets would make it to the playoffs when Yao went down. In addition to that, Greg Anthony and Skip Bayless also said Houston would still make it to the playoffs (Bayless even said we would with ease) I don't know about Ric Bucher though...

Yeah but Mashburn was saying the Rox had no chance against the Hornets, immediately after the Mavs game; apparently he was blissfully unaware that the Rox had recently gone to NO and stomped them in their own yard.

    So he's a twit too.

Yeah, Bucher's also the one who said when asked if Kobe was being traded:

"Oh yes, absolutely. It's as done a deal as you can get."

That's what morons get for an all-or-nothing approach.

let those so called anaylst keep hating, i truley believe they are only fueling the fire that has been lit under this team. it does get irritating though knowing that kobe bryant has not won jack since shaq left and everyone is calling them champions already. as much as i dont like the spurs they deserve that kind of recognition over the lakers.
