I am not going to say that Cash is the best analyst out there.. but to say just because she's female that she doesn't know what's she's talking about is sexist.

Open your mind up a little bit... you would be surprised how much female sports fans know.

Sounds like we got a proud sexist in our midst. To say that you won't listen to someone just because she is a woman is, how should I say, old-fashioned. If karma exists you will never get va-jay-jay again.

The problem that I have is that they promote something like the WNBA as legitimate, professional sports.

It's not. If your average rec league or Hoop It Up men's team can destroy the "world champs" then you don't have a legitimate professional league.

Look at women's tennis for example. Professional men can beat the women, but your average Joe would get destroyed by women's professional players.

Tennis is a legit women's sport, basketball is not.

You have got to be kidding me. I'd like to see your average rec team take on the WNBA champs. So what? You need Billie Jean King like proof that womens basketball is a sport.

    Give me a break.

Just because a guy can beat a female at a game doesn't make her game less of a sport.

Edit: In fact.. I know nothing about you and I would take my chances over you in a game of one on one. And I'm old and out of shape.

I agree with the end but the top not so much. I wouldn't say a average rec team could beat them but a top high school men's team could. Think about it I'm six foot and considered quite short for basketball. However, if I was female I would be a PF or C. The top high school men's team's have guys who are 6'6" or taller they would dwarf the top WNBA team's. A small guard in men's high school is a PF in women's pro's. I don't consider it a knock on the WNBA or women's basketball its just a fact. I worked for a top WNBA team this year with arguably the best women's player (Fever; Tameka Catchings) and I have seen first hand in practice the difference. They bring in washed up college scrubs so they have other tall people to play a full court game. The guys are told to take it easy because they absolutely dominant. They are like Shaq's circa 1999 against them.

Well, then you aren't playing the percentages. Assuming even I'm an old and out of shape guy, the chances are I'd smoke you in one on one.

Care to play a game for charity? $1000 to the winner's choice?

    Assuming you're a girl, then I have a 90%+ chance to win.

I played against Cheryl Swoopes once, before she came out as a lesbo.

Her husband was the best player on the court (DB at ACU I think).

I roofed her, but I'm sure you're much better than she is....

P.S. That average rec. team had men's collegiate players and went undefeated for 2 years. But, still, it was mostly engineering geeks, so how can a "world champion" be beaten by that?

All I will say about Cash is before she can ever go back on TV she needs to learn what to wear (that shirt was ugly and distracting) and a haircut (her hair was like a longer worse version of the mushroom cut I had when I was 10).

I thought he was pretty funny. Notice that the WNBA fan that called me out hasn't stepped up to the $1000 charity plate...

I don't know about rec league but a good hoop it up team could easily beat the WNBA champs. I used to play against some of the Texas girls in pickup games in college and totally held my own against them. Thats pretty sad since I'm 5'6" with t-rex arms, suspect handles and a very streaky jumpshot.

first they said we can't even make the playoffs, now they're saying we can't win a game in the playoffs, it's ok...i like the fact that our Rockets don't get any love at all from ANYbody, because this will make them hungry and humble to prove everyone was wrong,,,

Cash knows nothing. Those other analysts at ESPN must be shaking their heads around the water cooler about ESPN trying to make the equality thing work. They give her entirely too much credit simply because she plays basketball. But she's not in the same league. I guarantee a good percentage of the posters here know more about bball than Swim Cash.
