I didn't even think about about a player's skin color until I read this last page. Now that I have thought about it, I still don't care.

This argument ranks right up there with...

-"The Astros don't like black poeple..."

ESPN Reported about 10 Minutes ago that KG and friends are headed to the Astrodome to drop off supplies.

Lets put the race issue to rest guys racism will never come to an end people who are racist always notice small racist issues and cant help but catch a case of mouth diarrhia and spill out what they truly think about a certain race. So macfan lets just be the more accepting and better people and accept the ignorant for who they are, ignorant.

i was just checking the programming schedule. And the game has a time spot of only 1 hour on TV. Are they editing parts out? or is it just a short game?

Here's what I don't understand: I am going to the game at about 4:30, its scheduled to start at 5pm. macfan was saying that the game would be televised at 11pm E. So I guess they are NOT televising the entire game or covering it live?

i think they are airing the whole game at 10 pm our time so it wont be live. however, i think the whole game will be aired commercial free and it wont be a 48 minute game but two 20 minute halves instead.

To someone knowledgeable: Why isn't this game being televised live in Houston? Is it because TNT bought the rights and can't adjust their daytime schedule so quickly or because they don't want it televised live to encourage ticket sales?

Your comments about the Hurricane Relief game

I was listening to the game on SR610 and although they didn't do much commentary, it sounded like it was a pretty exciting game.

    Great CAUSE Great Game

A very nice gesture by all the NBA players

It sounds like Mac put on a show. I am going to watch the game on TNT later on tonight.

All you guys who were at the game, please post your impressions here. I hope you enjoyed it and again it was for a great cause.

There may not be a station available to air it live. You have to have production crews and a live feed and people who can run all the gear needed for a live broadcast. Since one was already doing it for TNT, it makes little sense to bring in an entire second crew just to broadcast it on TV in Houston.

Even though it is being played in Houston, it could be argued that it is no more important to the city than it is to any other city with players represented.

Wait until you see how far away T-Mac starts shooting 3 pointers when he gets in a shooting contest with Arenas.

    It's very far away

all i can say is WOW....

there were times in the first half..where it was SLOW..players fumblin the ball...but then..
tmac put a sick dunk.. first halfish...and then kanye west dropped in..and started rappin to golddigger which was awesome...then tmac and gilbert arenas launching FAR ASS 3's...so crazy.. the quarters were only 10 min...and they didnt pause the time..during dead balls...

however..the game was awesome..and for the 25 bux/ticket that i spent..it was well worth driving down from austin to see...now i havta drive back...and go to class at 10 am =(

oh btw...derek anderson looked bad...mike james looked pretty sharp..
