A lot of noobs here don't realize this is EXACTLY what we want. Houston Rockets basketball feeds off the disrespect from the national media.

Channel your inner Junkyard Dog (Mario Elie was known to feed off the lack of respect) and enjoy what you're about to witness this postseason.

    BELIEVE IT!

    Typical Clutchfans user:

    -Renentessly bashes Rockets players.

-Is extremely sensitive to national media criticism of Rockets.

I'd rather be underdogs and have doubters. How do you think we got the name Clutch City?

The Rockets have to prove everybody wrong. It's all on them.

Are you saying that First Take represents ALL of ESPN?

I guess I should ignore 5 on 5 ... they have us 5-0 beating Portland.

I guess the forecast panel isn't part of ESPN either. They only have us as 64%-36% favorites vs Portland.

Maybe you shouldn't get so worked up over Skip and Stephen A. They're just two guys with opinions... ;)

I think we're in for a treat, i firmly agree with Dmorey that this will be D12 best playoffs performances.

Most people are saying we should beat Portland, but unlikely to win a Championship. I'd say that's accurate, so I don't have any problems with it. Espn people are paid to say things, no big deal.

I don't think anyone is saying we can't beat the blazers. We're certainly the favorite.

But after that, I don't think we'll get past the 2nd round. It's possible, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I think Rockets will take the Blazers in 5 or 7 (Blazers won't lose game 6 at home). Really the question is if we split the first 2 or if we take both home games. If we take both home games it's a 5 games series, if we split, it's very possible this thing goes 7.

Portland is a legitimate threat. This is not going to be an easy series.

So typical. Only new fans give a **** what ESPN says. Part of their job is to pretend they know sports and have opinions. All that matters is what the players do on the court.

And dang they are still butthurt about Dwight leaving LA haha. Dwight's been GREAT this yr. Absolutely lived up to his salary so far.

That's the west for you. We could be matched up with any team and I'd say the same thing.

There is a 50/50 chance the Rockets make the championship series and win. You heard it hear first.

I cannot wait for Easter Sunday, that's when we'll all witness the resurrection of the Rockets.
