I love Harden but he hasn't won anything. Writers won't ride his jock until he beats GS

Respect should be earned not freely given.

Not even that Wes Mathew's could slow this James harden.

It's like people don't witness his insane progression. Each and every year he evolves and gets better, it's remarkable.

He's took a good offensive game and turned it into a great offensive game. He's took the great offensive game and turned it into an elite offensive game. He took an elite offensive game and turned it into a historic offensive game this year. What's after historic?

Absolute best of all time, no debate? Because this year he was in the debate for best offensive season already.

Kinda agree with this. I love Harden and by all means hes one of the best we have ever had. However, he has had his good games in the playoffs and he has had his fair share of WTF moments in the playoffs too. He also hasn't really performed exceptional in the playoffs throughout his career. He has disappeared a lot in big games. The playoffs are where you make a name for yourself. Not regular season stats.

    And **** ESPN too.

It was more than Shaq, it was the entire TNT crew, multiple people that comment on the game talking about how Dwight needed a post game. He took that to heart. SVG kept him in his lane. In L.A though it started and we didn't help him much with the Hakeem thing, but in L.A the narrative started that he needed to have a low post game.

This was never asked of other top centers at the time like DeAndre Jordan or Noah, only of Dwight. Even now you don't see people even begin to mention "What Gobert needs now is that low post game."

In the end, Dwight was mentally weak enough to be swayed by that stuff and that's his fault, but the media sort of egged him on.

Some of you give way too much attention to what you think their intentions were. No one in the ESPN offices is trying to sabotage anything.

    Life isn't fair?

Harden is way ahead of Russ at this point. He has to win to shut his haters up.

I think typically the game plan is to pick off Kawhi as Harden initiates the offense. Almost every time Harden shoots on Kawhi it's a broken play or last second shot.

On espn show nba lockdown the other day after game 4 all they talked about were the sub par numbers from harde when gaurded by Kawhi and raving about his defense. In a blow out win the media just cant say anything positive about James. It really makes me sick man, tired of these golden boys always taking his spotlight.

It sucks that Harden doesn't get much credit, but I rather him be forgotten then being the annoying little media darling like Curry or Westbitch.

Remember how stupid Curry looked after being the unanimous MVP and being outplayed by every point guard he faced in the playoffs. Or how WB looks now after being almost swept by the Rockets. **** the media.

    Where's Kawhi?

Oh yeah... he was guarding Harden then went missing from the frame.

@CDrex Look what you did, Andy Sheets had been in hibernation and you woke him up. Not cool.

On the bright side, if we win the Chip, Harden will have to defeat MVP candidate Westbrook, then MVP candidate Leonard, then the last 3 MVPs in Durant/Curry, and then likely another MVP candidate in LeBron. As much as our 95' Chip was impressive because of who we faced each series as a 6th seed and with zero home court advantage, I think this one might take the edge in comparison.

If Harden wants to be the top guy on the mountain, this playoffs would prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt.
