This list isn't real basketball, so I wouldn't pay it any mind. That said, I'm still mad they let Dragic walk for Lin.

of course, we learned our lesson with "Mr Contract Year MIKE JAMES"
by picking up his fat ticket through a trade, rather than just signing him, and the "NO TRADE CLAUSE he had"-Morey learned a lesson with Mike James in uniform that second time around...I believe Morey was still either in his first year, or was mentoring at that stage with CD...I think CD left him with some words of wisdom, after CD has after all seen a "13 block Pre-season GAME" Moochie, MO Taylor, etc...I think you're right PHX really wanted him, and that was their way of throwing it at us, look everyone wanted LIN over Dragic until about game 40...but remember Dragic isn't a superstar, with Camby man out he couldn't do a thing, HE lost six straight...Mchale "gave" him the ball just like Doc "gave" Rondo the decision making. I agree with ya, never thought of it like that, but that does make sense.

Stats are usually a good indicator of performance, no? Ironic that the no-stats all-star that is Battier actually was top 25-30 for a couple or more seasons in 9 category leagues.

Dragic has been in the league 6 seasons, and Lin 2 seasons. It's hard to count games bc of their mixed starter/bench status, but based on career minutes, Dragic has had 4x more game experience than Lin (5156 versus 1225 min). That's 4 times more chances to try out what works and what doesn't at that level.

Yes I get that. But Dragic is going to be a full time starter now. He has 28 previous starts under his belt. It will be interesting to see how he handles running a team now on a full time basis & being at the top of the scouting report.

On top of all that, Dragic has international experience, playoff experience and was mentored by Steve Nash. At this point, there's really no argument that Dragic is the more experienced player and should have high expectations on him as well.

He's had all that experience and he's still only slightly better than Lin?! That's not encouraging for Dragic.
