You didn't go far enough. The 1st Rockets on NBATV is the Grizz @ Rockets preseason game on thur 10/9 @ 7pm. It's replayed on fri 10/10 @ 1am &11am.

    Rockets team preview (1/2 hour) airs mon 10/13 @ 4:30 & 6pm, tue 10/14 @ 12am & 6am.

    Suns @ Rockets preseason game airs mon 10/13 @ 7pm, tue 10/14 @ 1am & 11am

After that, I run into the "to be announced" of my Directv schedule.

Conversation with Dwight was all about what the Rockets lost, and mostly about Parsons. (surprise, surprise Mark Stein).

Not one comment from either of them on Ariza, Terry or any of the other guys who have been added.

ESPN sucks. Always has. Always will.

Did you guys see the graphic ESPN put up on the screen from numberFire.com? It was the highest projected win totals according to season simulations:

    Team | Wins | Last season's wins

    Cavs: 56.7 | 33
    Spurs: 53.1 | 62
    Clippers: 51.1 | 57
    Rockets: 51.1 | 54
    Thunder: 51.0 | 59

So according to their simulations, the Rockets will be tied for the 3rd most wins in the NBA.

Apart from the Cavs, every team decreased in wins. However, the Rockets decreased the least.

Interesting. Seems way off, but still interesting.

That's not just ESPN. The media likes a certain storyline to run with. The storyline for the Rockets is all of their losses this summer.

Thinking about it logically isn't as interesting to the media. They like the drama.

Stein is just going by the script and playing up the storyline.

Hmm. Projecting Oklahoma to slide 8 games.

Espn will feature good things on Houston ONLY when Hannah storm does it.

Robert Flores will just drop wrestling lines here and there.

Well with Westbrook back to slow down Durant, I could see them sliding 8 games.

    Morey is a boss

That's the reaction I had when watching Stein talk to Dwight... "why so glum chum?" Nobody died but he made the interview sound tragic like the Rockets are grieving

It sucks that whenever ESPN needs a correspondent for basketball in Houston, that Rocket-hating choad Mark Stein is all too happy to oblige. "Please, ESPN, give me money to take an hour long flight from Dallas down to Houston to subtly disparage them and support my hometown with as much power as I am capable of exercising!"

First question upon landing: "Morey, how have you dealt with the crushing blow of coming up in 30th place in the offseason?! What does Mark Cuban's ass taste like?" I hope ESPN tires of him soon just like Bucher and Sheridan. He's a cog and as such completely replaceable.

So true about the bias towards Houston. IMO Bill Walton was the worst!

You'd think they'd be all over the 3rd(T) best team in the league.... lol
gotta be a simulation - cause there's no way we'd get that much love from BSPN if a human factor was added in... ;)
