This is only speculation. Seattle can trade Vatally or Fortson straight up for Swift. Stro would get 7 - 8 million a year. Seattle players said that they want to run more. The Sonics would have an upgrade over Collison. Popenko is a FA, but they can do a S & T with him. I hope this does not happen. Stromile visited New York, Houston and New Jersey. I am not sure if he visited with another team. Houston has been very quiet. I hope we are cooking something.

There 90 meals a month or less if you skip your breakfast. I think food should be on the top of your priority list than ESPN. :D

    Just kidding.

I don't think Swift can be had for the MLE. He is too talented and valuable to the NBA teams out there. I'm sure every GM and coach is thinking he is going to be the ones to turn Swift into a bona fide star!!

Houston does not have the money to afford Swift. In Houston Swift fills a need. He won't be expected to lead this team. At least not when McGrady and Yao are your cornerstones!

I also think this might be a plus for us when Swift is choosing between us and Nets, or maybe other suitors that we dont know of. We have a strong front court anchored by our two stars. He's going to have easy time to shine here. If he doesnt, so much for his upside. Out of all the teams out there, Houston is where Swift can ride on the stars to the championship. In a long run, the Houston gig is good for him if he is thinking 10 years not just 3,4 years down the road, e.g. a guy named Horry.

I never realised McD's was actually classified as food... Isn't it like this age's version of Soylent Green? :D

People always say, oh well I skip Mcd once or twice a month, there is my subscription fee. The truth is you never skip it, and even you do in the begnining, you cant do it consistently every month. That's extra $5 a month. :D

Because they have to take on a bad contract when making the trade. The Rockets can't just, say, give Memphis a 2nd round pick for Swift in a sign&trade. They have to give Memphis a player within 15% of Swift's new salary. Why would West take a bad contract off our hands without getting something else to even things?

I understand all that. This is where expiring contracts come in. Just like they are rumored to be shopping for a S&T trade right now. My point being that, if team or player do not want to be in that situation and EVERYONE knows it, it's r****ded that they require so much in return.

Here is SAR, who will not go back to Portland and the Blazers don't want him back. So Nash is requiring a 1st just to facilitate a larger contract for him with his new team? That's upsurd! The Nets are offering their TE + 2nd-rounder(s) which is plenty compensation for Nash's troubles.

That's like you requiring me to give you $10 for the last two fries left in your value meal that you are about to throw away.

My boss and I split the costs. We always have something great to read while at the restroom. Sometimes I hear people talk during football season about the great espn articles left in the stall on top of the toilet paper dispenser.

NY signed James (true C) who they can't move if they wanted to until Dec 15 , drafted one of the highest rated C/PF, spent another 1st rounder on another PF, and has a boat load of vet PFs. I really don't think they are interested in Swift.

I don't think Seattle would be either. They are loaded with guys who can play the 4. The only way they think about it is if they don't want Radm back. I highly doubt they would prefer Swift given their other players. (Collinson, Fortson, probably Evans back, plus there last two draft picks of centers--Petro and the other Swift). Seattle is better served picking up another PG and trying to get the rest of their guys back.

The biggest threats are the Hornets, Nets and Cavs, with the Clips, Wiz, Kings and Hawks as darkhorses. Luckily the Hawks seem to be tied up with Johnson, Curry and Chandler.

I'm only 31! I just happen to love good & clever movies, and almost everything Sci-fi. Charlton Heston was a great actor; shame he's become such a gun-toting looney the last decade or so
