Was hoping that the Tennakey bit was referring to Tobias Harris, but Lance makes sense too. He recently had to pay $10k at a team dinner:

Tyreke Evans - he can play PG, SG, SF & PF. He went to Memphis. He is also "next to Anothony Davis".

Evans has minutes clocked at power forward? Lol I had no idea is he a big boy? I thought he was smaller than harden but maybe he's got some of that draymond small ball center true grit

everything that comes out of NO is that they prefer to trade Gordon and Rhyno not evans. But sure it could be him. Not for a buyout tho. That's for sure.
Demps is already one foot out of the door as GM that would be like a professional suicide.

    My guess is:

Tennakey = Tennessee = Tobias Harris
(Some speculation that he is not happy playing for Skiles)

Hillary = Wizards = Nene (expiring)

That makes zero sense. The Rockets never would have traded Ariza for an expiring Noah when they already have Dwight expiring.

yeah, no way would the Rockets move Ariza for Noah considering Noah was going to be a UFA.

Before the injury, Noah would have been great for the Rockets team defense, rebounding and defensive rotations. Rockets need that badly. Josh Smith can help some here though.
Nene would also help in this area. He is also a UFA though.

Tobias Harris is interesting. Yeah, it would take a lot to get him. But he is an interesting combo-forward. I think the Rockets had interest in him in the past.

I am rating this thread 5 stars. Not for the ESPN Insider article, but for Codman's contributions. =)

I'm going to slightly disagree . . . EVERY NIGHT is the time when a player is supposed to put in a max effort. The idea of a "contract year" is something of a fan construction to describe how some players (not all) seem to ratchet up the effort when they know a new contract is coming. This has nothing to do with the moral point of what a player "ought to do" or "is supposed to do." This may seem like a minor quibble, but I really don't like this idea that players are supposed to somehow put in some extra effort to further their own economic self-interest; which implies that in other years, they can mail it in or somehow get away with less effort. That's disrespecting the game of basketball, to me anyway.

Again, not picking on you specifically, just raising a broader point about what professionals get paid to do.

Tennakey is def tyreke evans...mentions that we all hate injuries but atleast he isnt eric gordon

I do believe the hilarry thing is the wiz but iam not sure Nene fits the pick and pop pf and his 13 mill salary will be tough to match, but he did say a buyout so you could be right

The Wizards also have Jared Dudley, he's a pretty damn good backup.

Nene is a buyout candidate. Tyreke is not.
I'm certain that the Hillary refers to Nene since also Codman has connections to him.
But wizards are still very much into the playoff race right now so I don't know how they can be convinced to let him go for no good reason. There's really no reason why they would do that. Unless for a 1 for 2 trade?
I dont' know..I'm just telling you what that writer said..and Codman pretty much said it wasn't for Ariza. I don't like Noah and I dont' think he would fit here, but now it's confirmed that Morrey wanted to trade for him. (that was before his season ending injury ofc).

Harris should be available for a good pf.

Hey perhaps that's where the Hawks would trade Teague to. Skiles really hates Payton. He has called him out in the press, he has put him in the doghouse, he is destroying his confidence and has stopped even giving him many minutes anymore and instead uses Nappier.

Nene buyout makes sense. If I remember correctly, he lost his starting job. It doesn't hurt them. They can make a trade to acquire a PF.

Tyreke makes sense. But who do you ship out?

Brewer/Jones for Tyreke appears to work. Gets Jones back together with AD.

I like Tyreke I'm just not sure if he fits here. Looks like a high usage guard and that doesn't work much next to Harden.

Love wouldn't make the Warriors a contender.

If we want to continue not playing team basketball, Love would be better than most.

Why would Miami trade Dragic? And wasn't Dragic pretty clear about not coming back to Houston a year ago? Has anything changed? Well, anything positive?

doesnt lebron wants love out now? i thought that's a given. blatt b4 he's fired even told his friends "it's either me or kevin love". wont be surprised to see love gets swapped (not necessarily to houston).

and they just said it on radio that the rockets tried to move dwight in december and were disappointed at the offers they got, and that now they're rolling the dice and trying to keep him until the end of the season given his improved plays.

Washington's Kris Humphries is a pick and pop player. 4.4M this year, 4.6M next year.
