Lol @ you guys acting like its completely ridiculous for the clips to be #1. Adding one of the best coaches in the league, two good players to a team that already has decent depth and re-signing the best pg in the league is not bad at all. If you want to say Houston fine you can make a case for us as well. But the clippers did improve

Let the Clips, Nets or fill in the blank team have #1 BEFORE the season. It's who's #1 at the END of the season that I care about.

Everything up to that is subjective.

Maybe you're not understanding. They stated one of the reasons the Clippers improved was because Chris Paul was re-signed. No one is saying they didn't improve, but when you list one of the reasons they're the MOST improved is because they re-signed a guy that was already there last season .... hello.

I honestly don't see how anyone can interpret "most improved rosters" in any way except as the above. Or has the English language changed?

What has the Clippers improved from? The one day between when CP3 technically became a FA and when he re-signed?

Doc Rivers alone is a major improvement.

Interesting pov. Guess we will have to wait and see what, if any, impact Doc can bring. But I can see the similarity between this Clipps team and the Celtics team that Doc coached to the championship in 2008.

Brooklyn or Houston should be #1.

I would say the Nets have improve with the trade of KG, Pierce along with signing Ak47.

And the players they will be replacing? Non other than Crash Wallace and Mr Ex Kardashian.

Clippers improved - JJ Redick is a huge win for their roster. But bigger than signing Dwight Howard?????

How can you make that case?

They added Reddick, Dudley and Collison to replace Billups, Butler, and Bledsoe. It's debatable whether that is really an upgrade.

Doc Rivers is overrated. Chris Paul shouldn't even be part of the discussion.

I actually agree with this. Was not impressed with Jack during the playoffs. Looked alot like Felton. Both are good scorers, which gets you highlights and mentions in the worthless game summaries on your iPhone, but neither of the two brings great intangibles, rebounding, loose balls, team play, etc.

Since the title says "roster", Doc shouldn't be part of the discussion either.

So in this light, The Clippers only improved marginally to moderately at best and probably don't make the top 10 in improved rosters, much less #1.

Trading Chris Paul for Chris Paul was obviously a shrewd move toward improvement. Kudos to them for pulling a fast one on themselves.

Of course, I think trading Barnes for Barnes probably set them back, so really I'd call it all a wash.

    The season is coming....

We about to find out who is #1.

Mr. Howard is going to make one O them doll inside a doll inside a doll things out of CP3, JJ Reddick, Jared Dudley and Matt Barnes. I just don't know what what the stacking order is yet.

As has been mentioned the guy wrote an article on best offseason and titled it most improved rosters.

If he just changes the title, there's not much to complain about.
