they wouldn't give that for Kobe, so they are going to turn around and do it for Tracy.......riiiiight....
so you're saying.. lets trade Rafer for another Rafer..lol <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8op7lb1x588&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8op7lb1x588&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
it was just an idea...i like tmac but hes making it hard to like him with him chucking up shots... and i thought the kobe wanted deng to still be on the team if he was gonna go to the bulls...or that the bulls were already giving up gordon so they wanted to keep deng i cant remember...but i could be wrong... and hinrich is way better than rafer...hes just struggling this year but overall in his career hes a lot better..
yeah I know but reality is that Yao and Tracy are going no where. I'm sure we'll see some trades but not a blockbuster deal like everyone is hoping for.
wow.... i cant believe so many of you are so down on t-mac and suggesting ridiculously bad trades for him. corey maggette ? michael redd ? thats going to make us better ? are you guys kidding me ? why is t-mac getting all the blame and yao getting a pass ? how about the fact that we STILL have two scrubs as starters on our team and that we aren't getting ANY consistent play from our role players ? the problem is we arent coming together as a TEAM and that has alot to do with adelman and the players still trying to figure things out. i think you are all out of your minds if you think just trading for another wing player is going to solve this team problems.
The biggest problem for Rox is that the most important guy is a wrong guy, who can score over 60 pts a game and easily got the scoring champion, but cannot win a game when it counts. This guy has no heart to play, slow down most of the fast breaks, commits TOs in crunch time, misses jump shoot in crunch time, rarely play defense.
Sure, we should trade Yao as well, wonder whether Lakers are willing to give up Oden for Yao Ming, probably we can throw in a 2nd round pick and Yao for Oden.
I don't think they're looking to trade McGrady. They'll get rid of the coach first before breaking up Mac and Yao. I was disappointed in McGrady for "quitting on the team" yesterday but pondering about it more today I think by taking himself out of the game he was revolting against Adelman. Which is probably why he was so happy in the interview today that Yao has gone to the media. Yao went to the media; TMac pulled himself out of the game. Although they are different means they both scream displeasure with the coaching staff. Like Calvin Murphy said on the radio this afternoon, the team will take the personality of the coach not the superstars. Just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm hoping he proves us wrong and we can all look at this later in the season as a tactic rather than a trend.
im not advocating trading yao OR tmac, though id trade yao before t-mac. it would be nice to have a third all-star, or near all-star next to them. hell, you pretty much NEED that in the western conference to get out of the first round. we have a better bench than last year but most of time its under performing. we still have rafer and chuck hayes as starters... i think improving those positions would be a better idea than trading away the two best players. i'd KILL for a guy like Paul Milsap next to yao, or a udonis haslem type. but anyway, i have not given up on this team.
Well said. For all of the things he is not he is still a top 10 player in this league and more important to his team's success than any other player not named Lebron or Nash (and that is debatable)
Damn, when did TMac become a scrub? I can't believe the degree of hatred. It's way worse than the Francis hatred a few years ago. He had a couple of bad games and he "quit" because he didn't want to risk further injury to a bad ankle in a game that had already been lost? Trade him for Corey Maggette? Are you crazy?
what IF? Yao has still demonstrated that he still possesses more skill than Amare, just not the tenacity, which can and will change. What IF? Eddie Griffin (RIP) lived up to the potential EVERY SINGLE GM and Coach said he always had. He would be twice the player Jefferson is today. What IF? We were never GOING to get Rudy Gay? We were ALWAYS going to get Thabo Sefolosha...Rudy Gay was NEVER part of the equation. What IF? You didn't epitomize everything that is wrong with the GARM these days. This board would be a much better, more rational place, and I could actually enjoy visiting my favorite site again.
If you would rather have Redd than T-Mac, then you must be smoking some strong $hit. Redd is a one dimensional player. Would he be a good addition on this team? Sure. Would we be better with him and without TMac? No One bad game and everyone is ready to trade you. Rooks
