    You have no need for him? I'm not a Shandon fan, and I'm not a Nuggets fan either, but wouldn't you consider him more valuable than Voshon Lenard or James Posey?

    Rocket Guard's idea could be feasible. I checked up the salaries on RealGM's updated 2001 numbers and basically if the Rockets take on Raef LaFrentz, Voshon Lenard and Calbert Cheaney, the Nuggets would free up slightly over 6 mil in cap room. This would allow them to offer a very competitive deal with 10% increases to DA if he chooses to go there.

    From a Rockets standpoint.... Cheaney and Lenard would come off the cap next summer so the Rockets would not be taking on any major financial committments. As far as this summer, Mo and Moochie could be re-signed, but Hakeem would have to be let go.
