Rocket Guard's idea could be feasible. I checked up the salaries on RealGM's updated 2001 numbers and basically if the Rockets take on Raef LaFrentz, Voshon Lenard and Calbert Cheaney, the Nuggets would free up slightly over 6 mil in cap room. This would allow them to offer a very competitive deal with 10% increases to DA if he chooses to go there. From a Rockets standpoint.... Cheaney and Lenard would come off the cap next summer so the Rockets would not be taking on any major financial committments.
