If they bring in the Big Zero I will lead a parade to burn his jersey at the new stadium. Horrible.

Glad to see Ford recognizes the Rice contract will have some value. Maybe it can help net us a player we do need!

Falk has to flex (whatever) muscles (he has left). 1st to send PD Brand to Rox then to locate a good home for MoT. I hope that does not include getting Rice an extention!

    Man...I would accept!

    Who cares..

We already don't have much of a chance of making the playoffs.

Bostjan and Eddie won't improve much.

Glenn Robinson and James Posey is better than Glen Rice and James Posey.

    Robinson isn't a winner...but still...we need a better team.

So, we trade Mobley and Griff for Brand, then we can pick up Jon Barry in the FA pool...

    Yao / Cato
    Brand / Mo Tay
Posey (if he resigns for good price) / Nachbar / Tmo
    Jon Barry / Steve
    Steve

We would just need another pure point guard to start or to back up Steve (assuming that Steve wants to play sg.) Maybe find a team wanting some extra cap space, and send over Rice for a decent PG.

    Whooooo, feeling good.

    lol Hot. Man...Jon Barry cannot start. He's a good backup...but can't start.

BUT LOL. IF WE HAD ELTON BRAND......maybe he could. :)

And Eddie and Mobley for Brand won't work. Brand will make about $13,000,000...while Mobes and Griff only make combined $7.2 million. Not balanced......would have to add Rice in...and tell them to give Piatkowski or Richardson or Jaric.

    BUT YES. ELTON BRAND.

    WHOOOO

Then sign a shooting guard!! WHOOO.

    And then resign Posey. WHOOO.

    I wish man. :(

My initial feeling is Glenn Robinson - wow! But the similarities with Rice (who played well this year, btw) are too many. I'd pass in hopes of finding something better.

This would be incredibly stupid of the Rockets. Look at Glen Robinson's Turnover numbers, look at his assist numbers, look at his teams' records when he doesn't play, and look at how many teammates he's had altercations with.

He makes too much, and he's washed up. I'd rather keep Rice.

    this is totally unfair.

they've consistently turned average big men like Othella Harrington and Kenny Thomas with so-so athletic ability into legit NBA starters. look at mobley, a 2nd rounder, and now a 20-pt/game player. i think coaches around the league often gave props to the rockets coaching staff too...

If we are going to take a Hawk--lets take the one that is the best defender and who needs the ball less--Theo Ratliff.

You hit the ball out of the park! Robinson appears to be done. He absolutely SUCKED at Atlanta this year. I'd give a body part to get KG but his huge contract makes that all but impossible. But it's OK to dream...

glen robinson doesnt make this team any better!

    we need:

    1. a big point guard

    2. a POWER foward

    3. a shooter!

now....what does glen robinson give us?

    I must agree.

Big Dog might be his name...but he's been playing like a puppy for a while now.

Now that we all realize that it doesn't make sense to bring GRob in, management will be determined to make him a Rocket.

Glen is a free agent in 05 which means that he does not have many years left on his contract.
