Don't know about him picking Houston, but no one in their right minds, unless they are best friends with one of the Clippers' players or just don't give a flip would choose to go to the Clippers.

They are the Raiders of the NBA, but worst.

You make good points, but, how long would our market be #10 if we had LeBron and were kicking A?

As far as Yao, well, I think if you played him high post and low post, mix it up, you could have some success. In any case, Adelman has shown he can adapt to whatever players he has.

Still, we'd have to clear some cap space for expirings and picks (Scola, Battier) and LeBron would have to be convinced Yao is healthy enough.

The Brooklyn-JayZ connection is pretty hard to ignore, though.

Are you saying that you would rather have Z, Mo and Delonte than the guys the Rockets now have on the floor, PLUS Yao?

seriously though, what supporting cast does NJ and NY have that'll catch lebrons eyes? i think we have more energy hardworking players that'll attract stars. with that being said. If we do pick up lebron, how much would we be paying him?

If Lebron is serious about winning a championship, he really should consider Houston. NJ and NY are still pretty much in rebuilding mode. Houston is the opposite of Cleveland. Cleveland has a superstar in Lebron but not very much of a supporting cast. Houston on the other hand has a very good supporting cast but no superstar. It's a perfect fit, the only thing in the way is the money the Rockets can offer. Unfortunatly thats always one of the major factors that a player considers in signing a new contract.

If Lebron is serious about leaving behind a legacy, making the most money, and winning many championships.......he should come to H-Town and play with Yao. THE CHINESE CONNECTION.............DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE IT!

    Conspiracy Theory:

Perhaps Morey leaked that info about Yao coming back to entice James while he's in Houston into considering the team. He's attracted to the idea of a good place to live, a strong team with support, and only the best big man around.

I think James will think about it and Morey and get it done somehow.

Someone should let Lebron realize: With the powerful and still fast rising Chinese economy as well as their get rich fast citizens, he can more than make up the salary difference by merely playing alongside Yao Ming. If he does that, business opportunities will come swarming Lebron.

What worries me is that during the break, a Chinese businessman became a minority owner of the Cavs so maybe they'll work their way to acquiring Yao after next season.... Who knows, we'll see.

Lebron is staying with the cavs and that's that guys shouldn't get there hopes up. He also wants to be the guy. He won't be the guy here with Yao here

Houston has to get his attention if he really wants to contend for a championship.

Currently, the Rockets are nothing but good role players. These role players are surprising everyone in the NBA. They are pretty much in the game every game (except Dallas game). Imagine what this team could do with LeBron as the closer and crunch time player.

Plus, the market is good here, cheaper cost of living, Yao/Chinese connection. All this contributes to LeBron's goal of becoming a billionaire.

Houston is the perfect fit for him

    I agree 100%

The Rockets not the freakin clippers, nets, knicks, or even cavs have better role players than us.

Could you imagine a line up of

    PG: Brooks/Lowry
    SG: Ariza/Buddinger
    SF: Lebron/Shane
    PF: Landry/Scola/Hays
    C: Yao/Anderson

Not to forget we have been drafting pretty good talent as of recent.

Lebron and Yao will be a global market (even though Lebron is already global) but if he teams up with Yao oh man...

If i had 3 wishes lol this would be one of them.
