Lebron is not leaving the east. He has a guaranteed a finals trip every year. All it takes is SA getting unlucky one year (injury or bad matchup) and Miami wins again. This pipedream is going too far imo.

Lebron isn't coming to Houston. Melo is a high possibility though.

But if we were to get Melo AND LeBron, the ball would not be in Melo's hands at the end of the game, that would be LeBron, who is a GREAT IQ passer. He would get it to the open player. As much criticism as he got in Miami when he wouldn't always take the final shot in a game, he always deferred to the OPEN player, which is what a great passer should do.

    How?

Broussard was speculating about the Melo trade.

Next rockets trade Lin, Dmo and caanan

If Lebron and Carmelo take 9,5 million each
rockets doesne need to move or trade anybody else
    after that rockets sign Parsons

    Bev
    Harden
    Lebron/Parsons
    Carmelo/t jones
    Dwight

    It is possible?

LeBron and Carmelo are not taking 9.5 million each.
The only way to get LeBron is to sign and trade Harden and Lin for Melo and then hope LeBron takes a paycut.

We have a few nonguaranteed contracts we can axe but LeBron still won't be able to get top dollar.

    Not true.

The Heat were exposed in the playoffs, particularly Wade and their bench. If they don't change up the roster somehow, they won't be winning ever again, baring a GOAT Finals from LeBron.

A number of teams could have beaten the Heat in the Finals from the West this year. The Spurs were just the team that made the Heat look like a JV team. Thunder and Clippers are two teams that could have beaten the Heat, even the Rockets could have beaten the Heat if they didn't screw up in the first round.

That's because, as a "source", I trust if it came from cyberx as more of a legit possibility than Broussard any day.

    Da fuq?

    Harden<<<<<James

    Harden<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<James + Melo

Howard is about to be 29 his prime is NOW and so is Melos and LBJs. Look I love Harden and yes you don't trade 24 year old All NBA first teamers but the only players you would trade for him would be Durant, LBJ, and maybe Davis.

That being said this isn't really a trade issue it's a cap issue and if Bron and Melo really want to play here with Dwight I am damn sure they'd love to be here with Harden. Maybe Morey can figure out a way....

Yea, it really looked like they were getting exposed cruising through the entire EC until they met the spurs.

Except Lebron said winning it all means everything and losing in the finals means nothing. So what if he has to do it via the Western Conference.

Harden or Melo , Parsons, Lebron and Howard is better than Wade, Bosh and Lebron.

No team in the west can challenge them except SA. Duncan also didn't opt out, meaning he will probably retire in a year or two. Those sound like pretty favorable odds and reason enough for Lebron to stay in Miami.
