No kidding. Wasn't there a thread earlier about Las Vegas setting the Rockets season wins line at like 30+ something?

    That's a lot of commas.

I love how there's even two commas squeezed into that little bit in parentheses.

I was in Vegas before the season started and found some line sheets from the Planet Hollywood Casino...they're all pretty similar at all the sports books:

    Regular Season Win Totals:
    Lakers 61.5
    Cavs 60.5
    Celtics 57.5
    Magic 57.5
    Spurs 54.5
    Blazers 53.5
    Nuggets 52.5
    Jazz 50.5
    Mavs 47.5
    Hornets 46.5
    Hawks 44.5
    Wizards 41.5
    76ers 40.5
    Raptors 40.5
    Heat 40.5
    Suns 39.5
    Rockets 36.5

That's 17th place in terms of over/under wins. Damn. I really should have jumped on the that, but was too scared. That Suns bet is looking crazy too and the Bucks were at 28.5...damn. Most of my money is on the Bulls sucking.

The Hornets has lost their entire team, so the last playoff spot has an extra cushion...

I can't see the Rockets winning 50 games. Having to play this hard will catch up to them eventually and the lack of size at the 5 will hurt even more then. You gotta love the ways these guys are playing though and admire the heck out of em.

Haha. As far as I can tell, they're all used properly, though. =)

If Rockets win 50 games this season, RA gets to be Coach of the Year.

Realistically, I think we will win around 44 games.

the way the team is right now ,although playing well, 50 wins might be a little over reaching.

8th seed in the West won 48 games last season.

I don't think it will be as competitive this year. I think 46 wins will be sufficient and we have a remote chance of getting there.

I'll come back when the first 2 months are finished, but so far so good above expectations even when given the issues, because the first 2 months was the worst part of the 82 game schedule and really never struggled out the gate so 50 wins is possible.
