This is what I like too. Nobody else even acknowledges that the Rockets are playing without an All-Star center who averages a double-double and without a rookie that has given them some extra oomph.

That's because he also picked the Bulls to come out of the East. Because you see, Ben Wallace's PER and um...um... ;)

And it looks like Ric Bucher also joined Hollinger as the only other analyst who picked the Rockets. But even then, Bucher discounted his selection by saying that there are six teams who have a legitimate shot. So count Hollinger as the only real preseason Rockets supporter around.

    Sincerely,
    Yao Ming

    (and Carl Landry)

Reading that article, I started to think he was making excuses for all the other teams. Then he broke out with the recognition of our own injury problems and I thought, "hell yeah! It's about time somebody pointed it out." Thank you John Hollinger. Rockets aren't making excuses for injuries, they're just winning anyway.

Truthfully though, I think I prefer the disrespect we get. I think it really fires up this team and gives them focus. They need that chip on their shoulder.

This streak has become surreal. Nice article.

I was thinking the same thing - the first part of the article I was starting to get pissed as he was pointing out how all the teams we had beaten had players out. And then he pointed out our injury problems as well. vindication!!! Good article.

Uh...not saying anything, but I dreamed that the streak would reach 24 wins the day before yesterday.

    Yeh.

    Uh...
