    Why wouldn't teams insist on proven, CHEAP young talent? Any deal we make will certainly involve Brooks and/or Landry.

    Really, can't win Bobcats and can challenge lakers, I don't know why people are writing about it, we are barely in the playoff picture now......

    The only way the Rockets can really challenge the Lakers this season is for a major trade that returns an all star player to H-Town other than that is wait till next year once again. I for one hope the Team does something this season and I am know willing to give up some key players IF it returns quality players that will make the team a true elite team this year.

    Lakers are 1-5 vs the Bobcast the past 3 years.

    Does this mean the Lakers are... crappier than themselves?

    It would make my day if Brian Cook is involved in any kind of deal. Trade him to Milwaukee for Michael Redd's knee brace.

    As built this team can not beat the Lakers in a 7 games serious unless Kobe, Gasol, or a couple of their role players get injured.
