Yes, he will turn him into a spot up shooter. And then he will disparage Walton's dead-head roots, saying that he should go back to playing basketball in a VW bus.
maybe he didnt want to coach hmm...work 2 or 3 days a week for a few hours, or work 14+ hour days, everyday all the while having nonsensical people ridicule you because from everything to the reason one player sucks and crys like a baby, to someone being fat and lazy, and whatever other silly thing people will irrationaly rationalize in their brains yeah...how could you not want to coach??!
JVG will always be related to the Rockets though. I think he does a great job on the tube ... good move by ESPN.
Good job, Jeff. Happy as hell to hear this. Looking forward to the first game of ours he calls. Probaly 11/14 vs. the Lakers. Its the first ESPN game I see on our schedule. Should be great.
I'm going to that game! Thank god i got a dvr. I want to see his face and hear what he has to say.. lol "wtf is up with all this up and down offense!, WHERES THE DEFENSE?" lol
Classic. I saw him at Wholefoods Market the day before he was supposed to call SA-Utah in late May. I guess he's not too fond of the city.
He doesn't want to coach in another city. Houston's the only place he would want to coach. He doesn't want to move his family again. If he wanted a job, he would be in Sacramento right now. They really wanted him.
