I actually don't feel too bad about this game. I think Battier/Lee/Lowry can really disrupt Miami's fast-break game and give their stars tougher looks than most teams have been able to.

I knew it. Kobe knows it too. It's why he posts up a lot on Shane in these matchups.

Oops, add Hayes to that list too, to shutdown Bosh. I feel like Bosh could have a really bad game.

I'd guess that Battier's problems defending the post have more to do with our lack of size in the middle than with anything Battier does or does not do.

I really hope Rockets mix it up defensively by playing a little bit of zone. That zone defense really hurt the Heat against the Mavs.

Wade and Lebron are GREAT players, but they're not tremendous shooters from the perimeter. Make them shoot jumpers and try to keep them out of the paint.

Which would seem to make perfect sense, but how often do you see someone flash to help Battier? Battier is usually left on an island with his man, because he is trusted to make the correct play and not get beat.

Battier usually gets posted up by bigger 4's. i haven't seen too many 3's and 2's post Shane up effectively.

I hope not. I can't wait to see him, but that will mean there is a blow out in progress and RA empties the bench in garbage time....

Arnowitz/Haberstroh seems to know the Rockets better than our own TV analysts.

Who cares about these Rockets? They are no elite or interesting and no one should care about them. Let's talk some more about how great Elvin Hayes was.

If he's really that bad defending the post, how come he only got posted up 35 times in 30 games?
