Didn't J Lin go to Harvard? He can't use grammar and spell appropriately?

Also, your last name does not always signify your race. A black kid adopted by an Asian family might have the last name Lin.

Cultural appropriation is an over-used idiom these days. Cultural appropriation has been going on for centuries. Example given, look at the way Japanese have embraced the western culture in recent times or the way the Catholic church has appropriated other cultures' holidays and celebration into their own to bring in more converts in ancient times. It's not wrong to like something about another culture and adopt it into your life as long as you're doing it respectfully. It's actually a compliment to that culture. We spend too much time and energy trying to be mutually-exclusive.

Tbh Lin deserves all the embarassement and bullying, as such that article title.

He’s embarasssing and just a dog **** player. Bringing shame to his race.

Its the same as some Asian guy playing the goofy Asian kid in a movie. Sure he’s in a Hollywood movie, but he’s a ****ing clown.

Airemy Lin is trying too hard to fit in.

    Everyone can see that.

Martin just called him out on it.

Note to Airemy: Stop trying to fit in with your hairdos and by buying gifts for your teammates. It's pathetic. You will earn more respect by not sucking on the basketball court.

PS. LOL @ "I legit grateful..." Embarrassment to Ivy league education.

I guess that's your opinion. Myself and the majority of the public would disagree with you.

You despise the dude -- so I get it.

Nope. That was a moronic response. But of course a bunch of LOFs are going to love everything he says.

The correct response would have been no response at all.

But we know Airemy. His feelings get hurt.

And the "I had your poster in my room growing up" LOL!....Riiight.

Like I said, he tries too hard and in this case he called out by a moron and in turn responded like a moron that is trying too hard to fit in.

Alright, homie. That's a nice opinion. Mine differs.

You used to be one of the more rational Lin critics

Now you're posting like tinman, lol, what set you off?

I am still a rational critic. Not making anything up.

I see a player trying too hard to fit in with his

    1) hairdos

    2) buying gifts for teammates (LA and now in Brooklyn)

..and I am calling him out on it.

    I didn't make up either 1 or 2.

Let the game do the talking.

I would call his hate of Lin irrational. It was to the point where he had to constantly win an Internet argument while on a family vacation at an exotic beach.

Oh look. The resident Airemy nuthugger is back!

You're not fooling anyone. I recall having reasonable basketball discussions with you in Lin threads. Now I lurk the threads and you and tinman are flinging **** with the Lin fanboys.

LOFs are dreadful to deal with, I get it. But if we're being real -- you guys are the exact same just on the other extreme.

Not complaining though. It's all entertainment for me.

Look at the Lin threads. Compare how often I post in them versus how often you do. Then tell me who's obsessed with Lin.

Closet racists should be more careful on social media these days, especially if you're working for the media like Martin is.
