    That was the year they got leapfrogged by the Steelers, as a perennial playoff franchise, because Barry Foster came out of nowhere, Knoll finally left knowing he was probably unfireable, and Brister got benched for O'Donnell and Tomczak.

    That's the year and if I remember right they lost opening day to the Steelers at the Astrodome when Moon threw 6 picks and I believe 4 of them bounced off Oilers WR's hands first.
