This fan base doesn't know how to do anything other than be pessimistic and think the absolute worst. It's as if most of these people haven't watched baskeball ever in their life. Talent wins in the NBA and we have a lot of it. If the rockets get out to a fast start like they should im coming back to this thread to count heads on the people that doubt this team before we even played a single game. Smh this is comical.

    We didn't win the WCF.

Maybe you need a girlfriend to keep track of your team's playoff performance.

Haha touche, meant got to a WCF.

Fact still stands, there's going to be guys that are going to have to play into shape.

    Haha, no doubt.

I have faith in the team and the coaching staff, just need a healthy season.

How is this McHale's fault? Its the players responsibility to be a professional athlete and take care of his body.

So some are saying we need to be in top shape for 1st game?
Long season remember. Portland started out strong the past few seasons, look how their finals turned out.
Spurs don't start well, but ramp things up post All Star break. They're always thereabouts.
I'm OK with us not being 100% in game shape at the start of the season provided we still pick up wins.
I'm more concerned about injuries and why Dwight has played SFA.

LOL I hear ya...way too early for the doubt let alone what we accomplished last year with Beverly/DMO outta the lineup and now we've re-loaded. Quite comical

Good thing we have a whole season to build chemistry and get in shape for the post-season.

    That's today's generation.

We're a nation full of complaints.

We are never satisfied or content, so it wouldn't be civilized if the GARM didn't complain about a preseason game in which the players were tired.

I would rather them be out of shape and half injured at the beginning of the regular season than when the playoffs begin.

    Agreed 1 million%!

    All he did was:
    - 2nd best record in the West
    - first Division title since 94
    - first WCF since 97
    - 3rd highest number of wins in franchise history
    - 3rd coach in franchise history with back to back 50+ win seasons
    - all with the one of the highest number of games missed due to injuries in the league, including 2 starters missing for all of the playoffs.

What a "McFail". He should be fired for his lack of accomplishments with the Rockets.

The training staff should have given Yao and McGrady adimantium feet and backs so they could keep playing.

Dwight could possibly need that back piece pretty soon as well.

A preseason game could be tired and bored, but the guys will not be tired again in a regular season game at home this week. Spurs are old, they should be tired soon as soon as the season starts?
