    morris wasn't a late 1st rounder. I didn't even like the guy but sheesh.

    it's funny how PHX and SAC got so many former rockets on their teams now.

    I don't see how picking up a carbon copy of a player you already have is considered an "A" for the Suns....

    All PHX gave up was a second rounder for Morris. Morris "still could" turn into a starter in this league. Second rounders have a lot to prove. I'd easily say PHX did good yesterday.

    Grading these trades is so arbitrary, according to the goals the writers tend to focus on most.

    I agree with Bill Simmmons. This trade was a slam dunk for Morey. Basing a trade grade on player values alone is meaningless. You have to look at how the trade furthers a team's overall goals. The Rockets lost a little in for the short term, but gained a ridiculous amount of value (relative to what was given up) toward their goal of building a contender. The benefits cover so many facets. How can you grade this less than an A?

    I really think Honeycutt can be a solid role player for us if we decide to keep him. He's long, athletic, and young so he still has a lot of time to mature his game
