Man, Horry back in Houston would really make me happy. To this day, he's my favorite all time Rocket.

From a "make everything right" standpoint, he has to come back to Houston.

From a basketball standpoint, it makes sense also.

    - He's great at the entry pass. He can be the one feeding Yao, while Battier is on the other side to make them pay for the weakside double team. His resume is impressive, having entry passed to Hakeem Olajuwon with ease. I never knew how hard the entry pass could be until Horry left.

    - He's a good passer in general. A passing big man in Adelman's system. Maybe he can extend further from the elbow all the way out to the 3-point wing.

    - He knows how to get open. With McGrady on the team, he just might be T-Mac's easiest target along with Battier. He just knows where to be.

    - Experience. Bringing in a ring to motivate? Choose from over 7 different rings. The first 2 from right here in Houston.

    - Just the sheer nostalgic factor. When Francis came back, most of us jumped for joy. If Horry came back, Clutch City is officially back.

    - He's a Houston guy. Imagine if the Rockets did the following as part of their offseason:
    *Trade for TJ Ford
    *Signed Robert Horry
    *Re-sign Gerald Green

That is one H-Towned out offseason.

Horry would be a great fit here for MANY reasons beyond PR.

I don't care if we have to roll Horry out in a wheelchair, i would still rather have him taking the last shot than anyone on our roster.

Last two years for the Spurs:
this year : Western Conference Finals
    last year : World Championship

Last 16 years for a Horry team:
    2nd Round at least

I don't care if he's just hanging with Steve Francis on the bench. he's doing something right.

by the way. I didn't write this article. it was an ESPN article that billions of people can read. They didn't write about Luther Head.

He should have retired after last season. If he sticks around two more years he is going to embarrass himself.

Sign him up. He can play defense, and he can stretch out the D for Yao by making the other team's PF come out to the 3-pt line.

That would be crazy if we landed Horry or Sam. That would mean we'd have players representing the Clutch City era, The Franchise Era and the current, Yao & T-Mac Era. Nostalgia FTW!!!

If for no other reason than this team is HORRIBLE currently at making the entry pass into the post, I consider this move. In my opinion, Horry has been one of the best non-guards making the entry pass that I've ever seen, and I would say better at it than any of our current PGs.

You have to look at it if he signs for the minimum.

I like those trophies. 2 out of 3 years and trophies isn't bad at all.

if we bring back Horry, the curse will be over for Yao and Tmac.
cause the supernatural aura of the Clutch City originals > evil.

I think we need to have the Dream just sit on the sidelines during the playoffs to break our curse...

Horry is so fat and slow it's painful for me to watch him. If he wants to play two more years, I wonder if he has no life outside of basketball or needs the money.

The Rockets have been suffering through a string of bad luck ever since we traded Horry away. I think the only way to fix things is to bring them all back. Horry, Cassell, Brown and Bryant.
    Jeremy Bentham was right.

Tinman, the gods never favored Robert Horry.

    The gods favored Hakeem Olajuwon.
    The gods favored Shaquille O'Neal.
    The gods favored Tim Duncan.

Robert Horry just happened to be there and hit some big shots along the way.
