    The Celtics didn't tank that year. Injuries to your three best players + blowing multiple twenty-point leads = horrible record.

    Winning guarantees you won't get a lottery pick at all. The worst record guarantees a top 4 pick, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Bosh and Wade were all available in 2002 for the top 4 drafters.
